Joe Twilight

Canadian brand nail polish, Joe has some pretty great colors ($4.00 ea) but this one with all those gorgeous flakies, I'm in looooove!

I needed 3 thin coats of 'Twilight' and probs could have used a 4th to even out some spots, (macro shows up EVERY imperfection!)  But in real life it looks smooth and gorgeous!

Hoping Joe brings out some more fun colors with flakies, and I've yet to see glitters....a girl can dream!

OPI

OPI's Stranger Tides.  Ooooh I love this color!  It's a super classy way to wear a green!  The formula was pretty runny, but 3 thin coats did it.

glittery red

Milani red glitter.  I love this one so much, can't wait to wear it in the Fall and at Christmas time too!  This was 3 coats of glittery goodness!

lilac and glitter

Hello hello

Today I am wearing a fun little concoction of Revlon's Lilac Pastelle mixed with Wet and Wild Party of 5 Glitters.  I mixed the 2 together evenly, and although I do like how it turned out, I think next time I will try 1 part Lilac to 2 or 3 parts glitter to give it a more sheer look.  I love the swatches that I see where it looks like the glitter is so layered.

I also tried my first franken the other day, a blue jelly with blue glitter.  I haven't named it yet, but when I do I'll swatch it and put it on here.  I am getting way too into this nail polish thing!

Chanel

A couple years ago on my birthday (August 17th, it's coming up!)  my friend gave me my first Chanel polish, Kaleidoscope.  It's a super pretty, soft gold with a grey tone to it.  2 coats and she is perfectly opaque.

It's pretty enough on it's own, but then I added a coat of Sally Hansen Strobe Light, for some bling!

Feels kinda wrong to layer a cheapie over some Chanel, but I thought the end result was pretteh!!!

My first blog post!! Grape Fizz

After stumbling upon a few nail blogs, I was in HEAVEN, and couldn't wait to start my own little space to share my insane obsession with all things 'nails'.

My first swatch is Revlon's "Grape Fizz".  She's a super sparkly, shimmery purple jelly.  Lots of delicate magenta and blurple glitter.  The formula was really sheer, but after 3 coats I got the look I was hoping for.  Oh and it smells like grape, lasted for 4 days!
