Twinsie Tuesday Car Color Mani

Hello friendy-friends!

 

I am super excited for this week's Twinsie Tuesday mani!  We are showing polish the same color as our cars! 

 

I drive a black '08 Malibu.  When I saw Bowery by NYC, I knew it was perfect.  My car paint looks black overall, but when you get really close there is tons of silver shimmer.  My pic shows up the shimmer a little too much!  But it definately has that overall black look.

 

 

Looking forward to seeing what the other twinsie's are rocking/driving this week!

Maybelline Blue Freeze

I am not a huge fan of blue polish, but when I saw Blue Freeze, I knew I wanted it for Fall.  I am loving Maybelline's new colors!

 

Blue Freeze has a dark blue base packed with blue, purple and pink glass flecks.  This polish really glows! 

 



Twinsie Tuesday, Copycat

This is a special edition of Twinsie Tuesday!  We are doing something a little different today.  We were randomly given a Twinsie's name to do a copycat mani of.

 

 

My partner is Jenna from  I'm Still Thinking...   I had a peek thru her blog and there were soooo many cute nail art mani's, but beings as I'm not very good at nail art, I went with one that I've done before.  A gradient! 

 

So excited to browse thru all the other Twinsie's this morning.  Can't wait to see who was paired with who!  Check check check it out....

Essie Lilacism

Hello hello

 

My little luvey Nalaya got me Lilacism for my birthday!  It is such a lovely, creamy purple.  Soft and pretty but still has a punch to it.

 

Lilacism was easy to apply, 2 medium coats and I was good to go.  This is definately one of my favorite Essie's.

 



PCOS Awareness Month

Hello friends

 

My lovely polish friend Nory has organized today's posts to bring awareness to PCOS.  PCOS is short for Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.  PCOS is one of the most common female endocrine disorders. 

 

I suffer from PCOS.  I was diagnosed 12 years ago after displaying a few key symptoms.  There are some pretty hard to deal with symptoms of PCOS:

 

-significant weight gain

-facial hair increase

-loss of hair on head

-blood sugar problems

-insulin intolerance

-infertility

-ovarian cysts

-excessive blood loss

-irregular or extreme periods

-anxiety and/or depression

-acne
