Incoco Nail Polish Applique, Sweet Surprise

Hiya Dolls!

I have another cute Incoco Nail Polish Applique to show you today.  This cute sprinkle pattern is called Sweet Surprise.

I wanted to show you how versatile these nail strips can be.  You can wear them as a full mani or you can just use one or two as an accent, or you can do what I did here and cut them into designs!

I just cut up a few strips, stuck them on and added a topcoat to make it smooth.  I had so much left over that I did my toes too!

Here is Sweet Surprise shown as an accent nail.  I love doing a look like this when I want to add a little something fun to a cream polish.

Incoco Nail Polish Applique's come in many different patterns.  They have a video on their website to show you how easy the strips are to use.  They last up to 14 days and are 3-free (no dbp, tolulene or formaldehyde).

Incoco is offering my readers 15% off your order using code GRAPEFIZZ in the promo code box at checkout!  This code is valid thru June 21, 2014.

Nicole by OPI Seize The Summer Collection 2014

**PRESS SAMPLE

Hiya Dolls!

I have the fabulous new Nicole By OPI Seize The Summer Collection to show you today.  This collection is so vibrant and fun, it really screams SUMMER!  There are 3 cream polishes and 1 glitter in this collection.  The glitter is my new favorite for an accent polish!

Lay It On The Lime.  You guys, isn't this an amazing shade?  It's a lime-y neon green with a hint of yellow.  This is similar to OPI Life Gave Me Lemons from the Little Bits Of Neon Collection and also Joe Fresh Sour Citron, but there is more "lime" in Lay It On The Lime.  The formula was fine, a little watery so I used 3 coats for my swatch, but you can get away with 2 I'm sure.

The Coral Of The Story.  How perfect is this coral?!  This was a one coater, so it's pretty perfect!  This is so bright and vibrant, perfect for Summer fingers and toes.

Leapink For Joy turned out to be my favorite of the 3 creams in this collection.  Super embarrasing story about this pink: When I first read the name, I didn't get it.  It wasn't until my 11 year old read it out loud that I understood!  I was saying Lea-pink instead of Leaping-K.  I probably should've just kept that story to myself.  Anyhoo, super cute name now that I get it!  Formula is amazing, 2 buttery coats.

Shaved Nice is a fabulous glitter topper with loads of silver, white and multicolored glitters.  There is so much glitter in here that you can easily build this up and wear it as a full mani.  You can also just use one coat and layer it over a colored polish for a fun look.  This glitter is topcoat hungry, I needed 2 coats of topcoat to make it smooth.

Do you guys love this collection as much as I do?  Which one is your favorite?

Nicole by OPI formulas are long-lasting, fast-drying, and salon-quality. These shades will be available June 2014 for $10.99 each at select Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, Loblaws, Rexall and London Drug

Joe Fresh Spam

Hello Dolls!

If you've been following my blog or Instagram lately, you'll know that I am loving Joe Fresh polishes.  There are so many reasons why I'm obsessing over this brand.  There are plenty of fabulous colors to choose from and the formula's are amazing.  Out of the 17 Joe Fresh polishes that I own, I haven't found one bad formula.  I know that these can be hard to find if you don't live in Canada, but I have heard you can sometimes buy Joe at JC Penny in the States.  I also know you can buy these in New York, not sure what store though.

This baby blue is called Aqua.  How beautiful is this?!  It manages to be bright but look soft at the same time.

Ok, I am seriously loving this gorgeous, bright purple called Lavendar.  I feel like this is pretty close to Essie Play Date which I've wanted for a long time.  It definately squashed my lemming until I can find Play Date!

Jade is unlike any green polish I own.  I think it is such a fun shade.  The consistency of Jade was really strange, it wasn't hard to work with at all, just different than anything I've come across before.  It is a crelly (cream-jelly) finish.

Last but certainly not least is my favorite of the bunch.  I picked this one up because I needed a 4th polish for their 4 for $10 deal.  I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I do.  I've had it on for 5 days and all I have is a bit of tip wear.  Is it weird that I like the look of tip wear?  Yes, it probably is!  Anyhoo, this purple beauty is called Violet.  It has a purple shimmer in it that makes it feel like it's glowing!

Coca-Cola by OPI, New Collection

Hiya Dolls

I am super excited to show you three polishes from the new Coca-Cola by OPI collection.  This is such a fun collaboration, both companies deliver 'Happiness in a bottle'.

First up is A Grape Affair which is a deep, dark purple cream.  A Grape Affair is inspired by Fanta Grape.  Application was a dream, it easily could be a one coater, but I used two for good measure!

Sorry I'm Fizzy Today is a smooth pink cream inspired by Vanilla Coke.  There is also another polish in this collection that is inspired by Vanilla Coke too, it's called You're So Vain-illa.  Application was a little difficult, I needed three thick coats to even out some bald spots.  I don't drink pop anymore, but Vanilla Coke used to be my fave!

My Signature Is "DC" is a silver metallic foil and it is inspired by Diet Coke.  The formula was amazing, this is a one coater!  Woohoo!

What do you guys think of these colors?  Do you guys drink pop?

Coca-Cola by OPI

will be available in both nail lacquer and GelColor formulas beginning June

Twinsie Tuesday Re-do Week

Hello Dolls

For Twinsie Tuseday we get to choose a past theme to re-do.  Nothing really stuck out for me and I have been in the mood for a good gradient lately, so that's what I've chosen to do.

I used Essie Better Together and China Glaze Shocking Pink.  These were kind of hard to work with and I had to do about 5 layers with the sponge.

Check out the other Twnsie's:

Joe Fresh Melon and Twinkle

Hey Dolls

Hope you are all having a fabulous long weekend!  Our has been filled with sunshine, gardening, bike rides and 3 broken nails, haha!

Surprise surprise, I'm showing you a Joe Fresh polish again!   Melon is a juicy cantaloupe cream with a hint of pink.  I used 3 thin coats for perfect opacity.

I also picked up Joe Fresh Twinkle, because I can't ever pass up a flakie polish!  Twinkle is a flakie top coat that flashes a pale purple and blue.

Joe Fresh Navy

Hiya Dolls

I have been searching for a navy polish with a cream formula for a while now.  I find navy's can be a bit tricky, they often just look black once on the nail.  I have been loving Joe Fresh polishes lately so I was excited when I found Navy in the store last week.  I always unscrew the cap when I'm in the store to see what kind of finish the polish will have.  I was super happy to see that Navy was a cream, not a jelly.

Even though I'm loving pastels and neons right now, I still feel like navy can be worn year round.  This is the perfect polish for a night on the town!

Maybelline Bleached Neons Pink Punch

Hiya Dolls

I freaked out a little when I saw the new Bleached Neons Collection by Maybelline.  These are so up my alley right now.  I plan to wear neons all Summer long!

This is Pink Punch.  I also picked up Citrus Collide which I'll show ya'll in another post.  Pink Punch is the prettiest faded pink neon.  It definately has a bubblegum vibe.

I picked these up at Walgreen's on a trip to the States last week.  I haven't seen them in Canada yet.

Have you picked any of the Bleached Neons up?  Which one is your fave?

Twinsie Tuesday Oldest Untried Polish

Hiya Dolls

We are showing our oldest untried polish today for Twinsie Tuesday.  I keep pretty up to date with all my new polishes, but every once in a while one will sit on the shelf for a bit before I get to it.  That is what happened with Nicole by OPI Light A Candle.

Light A Candle is a metallic lavendar.  I decided to sponge Light A Candle over Clinique Birthday Suit.

Don't forget to check out the other Twinsie's mani's today:

I'm so happy it's Friday, it's been a long week!  I can't wait for a relaxing weekend and breakfast in bed on Mother's Day!

I've wanted to try this tape design for a while now.  It's so easy to do, I will definately be wearing this look all Summa long!

I can't seem to get enough of Joe Fresh polishes lately.  This brand is found in my local supermarket here in Canada.  This pretty blue is called Aqua and the peach shade is called Melon.

Twinsie Tuesday Nail Applique's

Hey Dolls

Today for Twinsie Tuesday we are showing off some nail applique's.  I didn't go with the traditional nail strips, but instead some sticky jewel applique's.  These pretty jewels were sent to me all the way form Japan from my sweet exchange student.

My pink base is Color Club Wicker Park.

OPI Little Bits of Neon, Summer 2014 Collection

Hiya Dolls,

I'm super excited to share with you the new OPI Little Bits of Neon collection!  I have been loving every neon color I can find these days, so when I heard that OPI made another new neon collection for Summer 2014, I may have freaked out just a little bit.

Starting off with Juice Bar Hopping, a gorgeous tangerine cream.  Application was super easy, 3 thin coats for perfect coverage.

Life Gave Me Lemons is such a fun citrus-y color!  This neon yellow has major hints of lime.  Formula was a little streaky and I found that thicker layers worked best.  I needed 3 thick coats.

You Are So Outta Lime! is a fun neon green cream.  I don't have anything like it in my collection.  Formula was really great, again 3 thin coats for perfect opacity.

Push & Pur-pull is a neon jelly purple.  Formula was pretty tricky on this one, it had a watery texture that ended up being streaky after 4 coats.  My pointer and middle fingers are without a base coat and my ring and pinky fingers have a white base.  The purple really pops over the white base.

Hotter Than You Pink is a fabulous neon pink with blue shimmer.  Perfect for a day at the beach. Formula was fab, 2 coats were needed.  This one would really come alive with a shiny topcoat.

Down To The Core-al (I love all these names!) is a super hot coral with coral shimmer!  I used 2 coats and formula was great.  This turned out to be my favorite of the bunch!

So which one is your favorite?
