Elle Polish with Organic Marula Oil, Limited Edition

 samples

Hey Dolls!

I get to share six new limited edition shades by Elle Polish with you today.  These lovely new shades are infused with Organic Marula Oil for some much needed hydration this winter!

The formulas on all six of these polishes were perfection!  My swatches are all just two easy coats.  They have great colour pay off without staining your cuticles, I loooove polishes like that!

First up is Oat Milk, a beige neutral cream with grey undertones.

Pistachio is a soft, dusty green with yellow undertones.

Wisteria is a lovely, periwinkle blue cream.

Cotton Candy is a sweet baby pink.  It looks like a cream polish but it actually has the tiniest micro shimmer in it.  You have to look very closely to see it though!

Tulipe is a Barbie pink cream (with that sweet micro shimmer).

Taro is a stunning, dusty lilac cream (with that sweet micro shimmer).

I love that all Elle polishes are 17 free and have the perfect wide brush for easy application.

You can purchase Elle Polishes on their website here.  They retail for $19.00 each.

Have a great day loves!

New OPI Spring 2016 Collection

PRESS SAMPLES

Hiya Dolls!

I am so excited to show you the gorgeous new OPI Infinite Shine Spring 2016 Collection.  I am so impressed with the Infinite Shine polishes, this line feels so luxurious.  All the formula's in this eight polish collection are to die for, so easy to work with and perfect in two coats.

First up is In Familiar Terra-tory, a stunning terracotta-coral cream.  This is my 'second fave' polish in the collection, it's sooo good!  This was almost perfect in one coat, but of course I did two for my pics.

Reach for the Sky is a stormy grey-blue cream and it's my fave of the collection.  It's perfect for Spring in BC, we get a lot of grey rain clouds at this time of year!   I have been wanting a dusty blue polish for a while now so I was so ecstatic when I saw this beauty!

This beautiful pop of purple is called Don't Provoke the Plum.  This was another one that was almost a one-coater, but do two anyway so you get the full effect of that gorgeous purple!

Sunrise to Sunset is a lovely tangerine cream.  Such a happy shade!

It's Pink P.M. is a whimsical pale pink.  For a shade with so much white in it, it has an amazing formula.  Be sure to use thick coats, it can handle it!  Two is all you'll need!

Rose Against Time is a sweet, bright rose-pink cream.  All the heart eyes for this shade!

Olive for Green is a.... yup, you guessed it, olive green cream!  The formula is so perfect, you can easily get away with one coat.

Half Past Nude is a lovely rosey-nude cream.  I always love a good nude with a great formula!

You can find this collection at select stores and salons across North America.  They retail for $12.95 CND.

What do you guys think of this collection?  Which polish is your fave?  Let me know in the comments below!

OPI New Orleans Collection for Spring/Summer 2016

PR SAMPLES

Are you guys as excited as me for the New Orleans Collection?  I have been seeing sneak peaks here and there, so when they showed up on my doorstep, I couldn't even contain my excitement!  My UPS guy told me that he loves coming here because I always look so happy.  Haha!

So, there are 12 stunning polishes in this collection, 8 creams, 3 shimmers, and 1 metallic.  Let's get on to the swatches!!

First up we have I Manicure for Beads, a fabulous, grape-purple cream.  The formula is perfect and easy to work with, I used two coats.

Crawfishin' for a Compliment is a lovely peach cream.  Formula is tricky on this one, it was pretty streaky so I needed 3 coats to even it out.  That pretty color makes up for it though!

Spare Me a French Quarter? is a stunning raspberry cream.  Formula was awesome, two super creamy coats.

Let Me Bayou a Drink is a soft romantic pink with beautiful white shimmer running throughout.  The formula was pretty finicky with this one, it's pretty thick and streaky.  I needed 3 coats, I just had to use a very light hand and make sure I didn't drag the brush along my nail.

Suzi Nails New Orleans, a fun bubble gum pink cream.  I can never get enough of these kinds of pinks.  The formula was great, two easy coats.

She's a Bad Muffuletta! is a rich and bright coraly-reddish-pink!  It's bright and it's beautiful and has a fantastic formula to boot!  Two coats here.

I'm Sooo Swamped! is a cool grass green cream.  Formula was awesome, two easy peasy coats.

Rich Girls & Po-Boys, oh man this is an awesome blue!  I'm not usually a fan of blues, but this one blew me away!  Formula was fantastic, two creamy coats.

Got Myself into a Jam-balaya is a beautiful almost neon coral.  It's one of those awesome polishes that is a soft, yet bright at the same time.  Formula was tricky, it's a little watery and streaky, so I needed 3 coats.

Humidi-Tea was a surprise favorite of mine.  What makes this gorgeous peachy nude special is the  beautiful red and white shimmer running throughout.  Formula was good, but because it is so sheer, I needed 3 coats.  Well worth the effort though!

Another fave of mine from this collection is Take a Right on Bourbon.  It's a little hard to describe, it's a silvery gold metallic with rose shimmer.  This one is a winner for me, I have nothing just like it in my collection (I love when that happens!)  Formula was fine, two easy coats, and a lot of brush strokes!

Lastly, we have Show Us Your Tips!  I love everything about this polish, although I'm dreading someone asking me what it's called when I'm wearing it, haha!  It's a lovely periwinkle blue with the most fabulous pink and white shimmery bits throughout. This formula is pretty sheer so I needed 3 coats, but no other complaints.

So what do you guys think of this collection?  I feel like this has taken over for my fave collection (it used to be the Venice Collection, see swatches here).  This collection is available now in select stores and salons.

I'd love to hear what you think, leave me a comment!

New Zoya Whispers 2016 Swatches and Review

PRESS SAMPLES

The new Zoya Whispers Collection for 2016 is so dreamy!  I am in love with all six of these shades.  The formula's on each of them were fantastic, a little on the thick side, so two coats gave perfect opacity.

First up is April, a sweet, blush nude.  Isn't she lovely?  This is a new favorite nude for me, I feel like it is perfect with my skin tone.

Ireland is a lovely muted green.  It is so soft and pretty which makes it a very wearable way to have green fingertips!

Lake is vibrant, yet softened blue and also my favorite of the collection.  I don't wear blue often, but when I do, it's soft ones like Lake.

Misty is a grayed-taupe with a hint of green to make it interesting.  A really beautiful neutral that I think would look great on everyone.

Eastyn is a subtle, grayed grape.  Such a gorgeous shade and I LOVE the name Eastyn!  I will be reaching for this one often!

Last but not least, we have Cala, a buttery soft nude with a hint of warmth. Another beauty!

So what do you all think of this Collection?  Which one is your favorite?  This gorgeous collection is available now here on Zoya's website.
