Pure Ice Taupe Drawer

I have a beautiful dusty rose-hued nude polish to show you today.  Pure Ice Taupe Drawer is the perfect 'Grandma shade' and it's right up my alley!  I think this rosy-nude is really great with my skin tone, it has just enough pink in it that it still catches your eye. 

I have been wanting Essie Marathin for such a long time and I only have online pics to compare other polishes with.  Does anyone know if this would be fairly close?  I feel like Marathin is deeper?

This color might seem a little boring in the bottle, but it is so classy on the nails!  Have a great day friends!

Pure Ice Laven-Dare

I've got a beauty to show you today.  Pure Ice Laven-Dare is the loveliest shade of lavender, with lots of grey undertones.  I feel like this polish will look great later in the Summer when my hands are more tanned.

The formula is great, two medium coats gave me perfect opacity.

Twinsie Tuesday Something New

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.  Mine was pretty great this year, busy but relaxing at the same time.

This beautiful grape purple cream polish is called Jail Bait.  I bought it before Christmas and I actually wore this mani for 7 days.  That's nuts!  And all I had was a bit of tip wear, go Pure Ice!!

Pure Ice Bikini and Island Girl Macadamia Nut

Walmart here in Canada finally got some Pure Ice polishes.  Bikini stood out to me the most so I had to grab it!  Bikini is a lovely, soft blue with grey undertones.  I definately would not think to call this polish 'Bikini', but it's gorgeous nonetheless.  Formula was a bit streaky, so I needed three thin coats to even everything out.  I can see this being a color I'll gravitate to a lot, it's very soft and classy.

 

My good friend went to Vegas and picked out a few fun Island Girl polishes for me.  Lucky me!  This sparkley beauty is called Macadamia Nut.  Loads of blue and purple hex glitters in a clear base make this a really fun top coat.

 



 

Why didn't I make this into a jelly sandwich?  That was silly of me!
