Julie G Nude Blush and Spring Fling Swatches

Hey Lovelies!

I go to the States about once a month (I only live about an hour from the border) and one of my favorite parts of the day trip is checking out all the polishes that aren't available to us in Canada.  Julie G is one of those brands so I love to pick up one or two on each of my trips.  I love the formula and the lasting power is awesome!

Spring Fling is a sweet and delicate light pink cream.  The polish was kinda thick, but in a really good way!  I only needed two coats for my swatch.

Nude Blush is gorgeous pinky-peach leaning nude cream.  The formula is not quite as pigmented as Spring Fling, so I did need three coats to get the opacity that I like.  It has that squishy-gel-look to it which I love.

I picked these Julie G polishes up from Rite-Aid, they were $3.99 each.

Julie G Southwest Sunset

Hiya Dolls!

I went to the States the other day for some shopping and I picked up this gorgeous Julie G polish!

Southwest Sunset is a beautiful burnt pinky-orange shade with lovely gold shimmer running throughout.  The formula was easy to work with, two smooth coats.

Julie G #nailsoftheday

Hiya Dolls!

I went to the States last week for a quick shopping trip and I only came back with one polish!  Shocking!  I picked up Julie G #nailsoftheday.  

Polishes like this get me every time!  Anything that looks like it's 'glowing from within'! #nailsoftheday has tons of beautiful gold and burgundy shimmer/flecks in a burgundy base.  I used two easy coats for perfect opacity.

I can't buy Julie G in Canada, so I like to pick one or two up when I make a trip to the States.  What's your fave Julie G?

I was so excited when someone reached out to me asking if I wanted to do a swap for the Joe Fresh polishes I've been obsessed with sharing lately, because I knew right away which polishes I would ask for in return!  Julie G, without a doubt.  You can't buy them here in Canada, sad face.

 

The lovely Doll that email me is Liz and you can check out her fun blog Rose Vignettes here.  She well and truly spoiled me and sent tons of extra goodies for me.  Thanks so much Liz, you are so sweet!

 

We swapped 5 polishes and she picked out some fabulous ones for me.  I've swatched 3 so far, and love them!

 

First up is Miami Beach, a stunning pinky-coral cream.

 

This pretty pink is called Shoe-A-Holic, it's right up my alley.  This was a one coater!  I'm not sure if I've ever come across a one-coat pink.

 



 

I currently am wearing Dream In Pretty, this gorgeous lilac purple is everything!
