Holiday Glitter Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

It's getting to that time of year when all the holiday festivities start!  So I'm going to start doing a few holiday mani idea's for you.

For this glitter gradient I used Essie School of Hard Rocks (I think this polish has sat on my shelf for years, can you tell by the bottle?!) and Wet n Wild Give Me a Price Quote.  I used a cosmetic sponge for the glitter gradient.

I know that people that love bar glitter are few and far between, but I am one of those people!  What's not to love?  I especially like the tiny bar glitter that is in Give Me a Price Quote.

Have a great Wednesday lovelies!

Nicole By OPI New Core Shades, 2014

**Press Release

Hey Dolls

I have three of the new core shades from Nicole by OPI to share with you today!  There are so many beautiful colors to choose from, my three picks are Yoga-Then Yogurt, I'll Have The Salmon and Fabulous Is My Middle Name.

First up is Yoga-Then Yogurt, a lovely white cream.  Application was perfect easy, two thin coats.

My year long hunt for the perfect peach polish is finally over thanks to I'll Have The Salmon.  It is so soft and lovely, and there is a tiny bit of shimmer in it as well.  I used three thin coats, and even though there is still some VNL, I love it!

Last but definately not least, we have Fabulous Is My Middle Name.  This is a party in a bottle!  I have been so into bar glitter lately, so this is right up my alley!  There is magenta, red and blue bar glitter along with silver micro glitter.  So fabulous!

Are any of these catching your eye?

Happy New Year, Twinsie Tuesday

Happy New Year everybody!

I hope you all had a great New Years Eve!  I'm ringing in the New Year in my jammie's with the hubs and my little girlies!

Marry A Millionaire looked like a fun New Years mani to me!  Lots and lots of fun sparkly glitter in here!  For the first time I wore 'underwear' under my glitter!  My pinky nail is bare, but the other 3 I tried a nude 'underwear' and I really love the effect!  I might be crazy, but I see a difference!

So excited to see what my other Twinsie's wore for New Years Eve!

Christmas is my favorite time of year.  Jesus' birthday, family, friends, snow, eggnog, turkey dinner, carols, presents, almond rocca and Christmas mani's!

For my Christmas mani (on Twinsie Tuesday!) I used Color Club Berry And Bright which is the beautiful red foil/shimmer.  My favorite white OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (big surprise there!) ACO, which is the red glitter, and Wet And Wild

Twinsie Tuesday, Chanukuh

Welcome to Twinsie Tuesday!
We are showing a Chanukuh inspired mani today!
I decided to use white, blue and gold/yellow for my colors.  My white is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (my favorite white of all time!)  The blue is China Glaze Dorothy Who? a lovely silver glitter in a blue base.  My gold/yellow is Wet and Wild Give Me A Price Quote, which is chocked full of gold bar glitter.

Be sure to check out my other Twinsie's and take a peek at their Hanukkah inspired mani's.

Sticks and Stones by Cover Bands Lacquers

Eeeeeeee!  I'm so excited to have Sticks and Stones by Cover Bands Lacquers on my nails today!  The lovely Nory sent it to me in our swap this month and I looooove it.  It is so fun to look at.

My base coat is Orly Jealous, Much? from the Cool Romance Collection.  I love this soft cream green.  The first coat was a little watery and streaky, but the second smoothed it all out nicely.

I used one coat of Sticks and Stones, it was pretty easy to apply, although I did have to coax a few of those large hex's around the nail.  A generous coat of SV smoothed most of it out.

Here is Jealous Much? on it's own.  I know I will be wearing this color a lot this Spring season.

Don't forget to enter my Giveaway  for a chance to win Claire's Candy Shop and ACO's Glitter Me Pink.

Twinsie Tuesday Franken

Twinsie Tuesday again!

This week's swatch is a franken.  Can't wait to see what the other girls do, I'm guessing there might not be any 'twins' today as frankening is so unique.

I mixed only 2 polishes for my mani.  I used Ulta Grin and Berry It and WnW Give Me a Price Quote (both from Nory, thanks Doll!)

Here it is:

Welcome to our 2 new ladies Anna and ChiChi :)

Grape Sprinkle Sandwich

Happy Friday Friends!

I used the purple bar glitter this time with Revlon Powder Puff and made a grape sprinkle sandwich.

I love Powder Puff's hidden shimmer that comes alive in the sunlight.

Hope your weekend is absolutely fabulous!

Bar Glitter

I picked up some glitters a while ago, thinking they would be fun for frankening.  Today I've got the green bars, and I also have pink, purple, orange, yellow and blue.

They turned out way chunkier on the nail than I thought they'd be, so that's a bummer.  They were fun for a day!  Base coat is Whirlwind White by Sally Hansen.
