Glam Polish Swatch and Review

PRESS SAMPLES

Hiya Dolls!

I am so excited to share with you my first bottles of Glam Polish!  I have loved seeing all the stunning pics of Glam Polish all over Instagram and on peoples blogs, and now I finally have a few bottles of my own!  They are even better than I imagined them!  Flakie, holo goodness with a kick butt formula!  On to the pictures so you can see for yourself!

The formula on all three polishes were awesome and so easy to work with.  The flakies are super smooth and lay flat against the nail.  I added one coat of top coat for added shine.  My pictures were taken using a light box and it didn't capture the rainbow-ness of the holo flakies like the sun does.  Still pretty indoors, but when you wear these outside, they are even more magical!

First up is Katrina Van Tassel which just happens to be my fave!  She is a stunning burnt orange-red jelly with plenty of holo flakies.

Nancy Downs is a gorgeous, grape-purple jelly with holo flakies.  So rich and decadent.

Madame Serena is a beautiful magenta jelly with holo flakies.  This color is so gorgeous, it was a tough choice between this one and Katrina Van Tassel for my favorite.

Are you a sucker for holo flakies like me?  I don't think I could ever get enough of them!

These three polishes are from the Coven Collection which is available now for purchase at the Glam Polish website.  You can follow that link to see the rest of the Coven Collection and purchase.

Polishes are $11.50-12.00 USD

Shipping is available to:

Zoya Urban Grunge Collection, Fall/Winter 2016-17

PRESS SAMPLES

Hey Dolls!

I received the new Zoya Urban Grunge Collection last week (on my birthday morning!)  I have the Metallic Holo's to show you today.  I will have the One Coat Creams to show you next week.

I was all kinds of excited for this collection!  It was Alicia that stole my heart with some of the promo pictures that I saw.  I have all the heart eyes for any polish with scattered holos and there are three stunning ones in this collection.  Before I received them I wished that they were all holo's, but the shimmery metallics are amazing as well!

Let me start by saying that my pictures don't even come close to doing these polishes justice.  They are way more beautiful in real life!

First up is Alicia, my fave of the collection.  She is a dreamy, silvery-white holo.  The holo didn't show up under my lamps, but in the sunlight there were rainbows all over my nails!  This was the only one in the collection that needed three coats.  Three coats is normally a pain in the butt to do, but this formula is so easy to work with that it wasn't a chore at all.

I tried to get that rainbow to show up for you under my lights.  You can see it a little.

Finley is a stunning purple scattered holo.  The formula is fantastic, two of the smoothest coats ever.  I wore this for six days and only had minor tip wear.  It also removes like a cream polish, I love that about holo's.  The scattered holo really shows up in the sunlight.

You can see a tiny bit under my lamp lights with this angle.  As soon as it catches the sun, the holo comes out to play!

Merida is an emerald green scattered holo.  The formula is perfect, just like Finley's.  I'm not usually a fan of green, but when you throw in some scattered holo's, I am all over it!

Tory is a liquid pewter with a metallic finish.  The formula is so buttery and perfect, you can almost get away with one coat, but I used two for good measure.

Britta is a berry metallic with the most amazing fuchsia flash!  This one didn't catch my eye in the bottle, but once on the nail it is gorgeous.  She's definitely my fave of the metallics.  It has an amazing formula, two easy coats.

Ash is a cherry metallic with red and gold shimmer.  The formula is awesome yet again, two of the easiest coats for perfect depth and opacity.

Which one is your fave?  Will you be picking any of these beauties up?  You can go to the Zoya website to order.

Have a great day loves!

OPI Washington DC Collection for Fall/Winter 2016

PRESS SAMPLES

Hey Dolls!

I have the new OPI Washington DC Collection to share with you today!  OPI teamed with actress Kerry Washington for this fifteen-piece polish Fall/Winter 2016 collection. While I'm not ready to Fall to start yet, I am drooling over these classy shades and can't wait to start wearing them.

First up is Stay Of the Lawn!!  It is described as a 'deep, lush green'.  This formula is perfection, super pigmented and easy to work with.  A one coater!

Suzi - The First Lady of Nails is a chic, olive green.  The formula is a little watery on this one, but still easy to work with.  Two coats was all I needed.

Never a Dulles Moment is a bright, curry yellow.  The formula was more watery than I expected, so I had a little pooling at my cuticles.  Just be careful and do three thin coats.

Pale to the Chief is a pale-tan, nude with the slightest white shimmer running throughout.  It has a great formula, two easy-peasy coats.

Yank My Doodle is a gorgeous copper cream.  You'll need three coats to get this one fully opaque, as it has a watery formula.

Freedom of Peach is a beautiful creamy peach.  The formula is excellent on this one, two smooth coats.

Squeaker of the House is a delicious chocolate brown and it's my fave of the collection!  Formula is perfection, two easy coats.

Shh...It's Top Secret! is a deep brown that looks almost black.  I love this classy shade!  It is so pigmented that if you are careful, you can get away with just one coat.

Madam President is a bright pink-leaning red cream.  It's very pigmented, you'll just need two coats.

OPI by Popular Vote is described as a 'cool apple red'.  Formula is fantastic, I used two coats to get the full richness of this color.

We the Female is a deep garnet red cream.  Again, the formula is great, two easy coats.

CIA - Color is Awesome is a stunning, dusty teal. You'll want to make sure you double up on your basecoat with this one and watch your cuticles, as it will stain.  Formula is great, two smooth coats.

The next three polishes are limited edition shades.

Kerry Blossom is a rich plum with a crelly formula.  I used two coats for this, but should have done a third as it is a little sparse in some areas.

"Liv" in the Gray is an edgy, deep gray cream.  Perfect formula, you'll only need one coat!

Inside the ISABELLEtway is the loveliest caramel cream.  Formula is excellent, two easy coats.

So does the OPI Washington DC collection have you longing for sweaters, boots and pumpkin spice lattes?  I need a bit more of Summer yet, but I always get excited for the changing seasons.

The OPI Washington DC collection will be available soon and retails for $12.50 CND ($10.00 USD) in salons and select retail stores.

Have a great day loves!
