I've seen some fun splatter mani's out there and wanted to give it a go. Not sure why I chose these colors, cuz I didn't even like it as I was doing it! Oh well, next time I'll use my usual soft colors. The blue is Sally Hansen Blue Me Away, and the orange is H&M Summer Coral.
I used coffee stir sticks to do the splatter, but I felt like lots of blobs were coming out. Does anyone have any tips for me?
I think this is super cool and you did a great job! I can't wait to try something like this.

ReplyDeletewaw looks stunning!
ReplyDeleteI actually love these colors bc I'm from NY & I'm a Mets fan lol.. When I did my splatter mani I used a regular size straw, the coffee stirrers sound like they would work better though.. I heard that you just have to dip the straw into the polish and blow but that wasn't working for me.. None of the polish was coming out of the straw so I just brushed the polish on to the bottom of the straw and made sure there was a lot on there.. Here's what mine looked like http://ibleedpolish.blogspot.com/2011/11/day-9-rainbow-nails.html
