Hey Lovelies!

I have a quick negative space gradient to share with you.  I've never really done a negative space mani before.  I love how it turned out.

I used Formula X Mesmerize which is a gorgeous silver holo polish.  You can find Formula X polishes at Sephora.  My artificial lamps don't show how pretty this holo is!  I used a sponge to dab Mesmerize on my nail and sealed it all with my fave top coat, NYC Grand Central Station.

Have a great day lovelies!

Holiday Holo Glitter Gradient

Hey Dolls!

I have a Holiday Holo Glitter Gradient to share with you today.  I picked up Essie Lady Like the other day (she's been on my wishlist for quite sometime), it's such a beautiful neutral polish.

For my gradient, I used Essie Lady Like as my base and then I sponged on Formula X Aphrodite and then a layer of Sephora by OPI It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat.  I am so in love with this combo, and I think it would be a great look to wear for all those Holiday parties!

Can you believe that Christmas is just a week away?!

Have a great day lovelies!

Formula X Divine Stardust

Hey Dolls!

I have three polishes from the Formula X Divine Stardust Collection at Sephora.  These polishes are glittery holo at it's best!  The formula's were fine, I needed two (pretty) thick coats to cover my nail line.  The holo was really hard to capture with my light box, just know that you will be blown away by the holo if you are able to pick one of these up at Sephora!

Hera is a rose-pink glitter holo.  How stunning is this polish!?

I wish I could capture just how amazing the holo really is, these photo's really don't do it justice.

Taken with my Iphone in natural light.

Aphrodite is a purpley grey glitter holo.

Taken with my Iphone in natural light.  You can see the holo goodness here!

Artemis is a silvery-champagne-gold glitter holo.

There were on sale at my local Sephora right now (Canada).  I'm sure they will be gone fast!  Be sure to go in quickly if any of this Collection catches your eye!

Have a great day loves!

Gradient Manicure, Liquid Palisade Review

Hey Dolls!

I have a gradient/glitter/messy polish game changer for you guys!  I think I'm a little late to get on this band wagon, but oh man, I am ON IT now!  Kiesque, Liquid Palisade is like painter's tape for the nails!'  You can use it to get a nice clean line around your cuticles whether you are using glitter or just wanting a nice crisp line without the need for clean up!

I knew right away that I wanted to try a gradient using Liquid Palisade.  I love the look of gradients but loathe the clean up!  This makes it an absolute breeze!  First, you paint the Liquid Palisade all over your cuticles and let it dry.  You know it's dry when it turns a darker purple.

Once it's dry you paint/dab away with your regular polish and then just peel away the Liquid Palisade to reveal a perfectly crisp polish line!  So easy right?

I also received a French Manicure Liquid Palisade that has a long thin brush that you can use right on your nail to create an easy french manicure tip.

So how many of you have already used this product?  I am so glad that I found it and that it's actually easy to use and works perfectly!

You can purchase Liquid Palisade at Sephora.com and they retail for $17.00 cnd
For further instructions and videos please visit kiesque.com or LiquidPalisade.

Revlon Plum Seduction with Sephora Gold Top Coat.

Hey Dolls!

I wore this mani for six days a couple of weeks ago and got so many compliments on it.  I sometimes forget about this gorgeous Sephora gold flake top coat and I'm not sure why because it is sooo gorgeous!  I layered this over top of Revlon Plum Seduction which is a beautiful purple-fuchsia cream.

Have a great day!

Posy

I made a franken that reminds me so much of Summer.  I named her Posy.  It's a blue jelly with multi colored and sized glitter, some small white glass flecks, and larger white flakies. Mmmmmm.

I should have put more flakies in it!  You can never have too many flakies I always say.

When I wore this, I actually preferred my right hand (it had more glitter on it) but I didn't even attempt to take a pic of it!  It's luck of the swipe with this franken.  I guess I could've put another swipe on, this was 3 thin coats.  And they super quick, it was great.

I used a concoction of polishes from my stash to make Posy.

Cinderella Dupe, maybe.

Hello Luvlies

Sanx to everyone who entered my giveaway.  I'm so excited to now have over 300 followers!  The winner of the 2 Billie polishes is Madeline, I've sent an email out to her.  Congrats!

So this is my take on Cinderella by Sinful Colors.  I used Sephora by OPI's Havana Dreams, I needed 4 coats of this.  It may the the runniest, watery-ist polish I own, but once it reaches opacity it is gorgeous.  And then I put one coat of Revlon's Colada Fizz on top.

I don't own Cinderella yet, but when I do, I will do a comparison.  I think Colada Fizz has bigger glass flecks than Cinderella, and Colada is straight silver/white flecks, which I think Cinderella's glass flecks shine a bit orange?

What do you guys think?

Twinsie Tuesday

Twinsie Tuesday again!  And Happy Valentines Day peeps!

My favorite dupe out there is Whimsical.  I seriously will never tire of this polish!  It is of course a dupe to Deborah Lippmans Glitter in the Air.

Revon Whimsical over Sephora Havana Dream.

Check out the other Twinsie Tuesdays girls to see their dupes this week:

Whimsical

I almost squealed when I saw Revlon Whimsical at Superstore the other day!  I'm so surprised Canada got it so quickly, we're usually way behind the US.

I've been looking at comparison's of DL Glitter in the Air, and they are super close.  The main thing I see is that Whimsical's base is a bit more blue and GITA seems a bit grey.

I used Sephora Havana Dream as my base for Whimsical.  I will definately be trying other colors for Whimsical, I can't ever imagine being tired of this polish!

cream sandwich

On my holiday, I picked up a pretty cream blue Sephora polish 'Havana Dream'.  I wore it almost my whole trip and it held up suuuuper well.  The formula is pretty thin and streaky, so it takes a good 3-4 coats to make it opaque.  So I thought it might work for a "sandwich" mani!

I really like the look of the glitter toned down so much on such a light color.

I used Milani Gems for the glitter, one good coat.
