OPI Spring Gradient Nail Art

I was in the mood for a gradient mani, so I reached for the OPI Infinite Shine line of polishes.  I absolutely love this formula.

I used Rose Against Time which is one of my fave pinks ever and (P)ink on Canvas.

I thought that China Glaze Fairy Dust would look really pretty over it.

Zoya Dazzle Gradient Nail Art

I've been playing around with the new Zoya Dazzle Collection for Winter 2021.

I created a gradient using Zoya Dominique and Marlena.  I use a cosmetic sponge to apply the 2 polishes to give that filtered gradient look.

OPI Celebration Holiday Gradient Nail Art

I recieved the new OPI Celebration Collection for Winter 2021 the other day and I was so excited to see the 6 gorgeous holo polishes that I had to do some nail art before starting to swatch the collection!

I used Paint the Tinseltown Red, Mylar Dreams and My Color Wheel is Spinning and made a gradient mani.

White and Nude Gradient

Hiya Lovelies!

I have a quick white and nude gradient mani to share with you today.  I added some gold foil which is my favorite accent right now!  I could put it on every. single. mani.  I also picked up some silver foil, so I'm thinking up a good mani to add that to!

I used Zoya Mckenna and Snow White for the gradient and I sponged them on with a makeup sponge.  I tapped some gold foil on and sealed it all with my fave top coat: NYC Grand Central Station (I buy mine at Walmart).

Hey Lovelies!

I have a quick negative space gradient to share with you.  I've never really done a negative space mani before.  I love how it turned out.

I used Formula X Mesmerize which is a gorgeous silver holo polish.  You can find Formula X polishes at Sephora.  My artificial lamps don't show how pretty this holo is!  I used a sponge to dab Mesmerize on my nail and sealed it all with my fave top coat, NYC Grand Central Station.

Holo Gradient Mani, Essie and Color Club

I have a bright and beautiful holo gradient to show you today.  

I used my favorite purple polish - Essie Fashionista as the base color and sponged on Color Club Miss Bliss on the tips.  I used my favorite top coat NYC Grand Central Station on top to smooth it all out.

Holiday Holo Glitter Gradient

Hey Dolls!

I have a Holiday Holo Glitter Gradient to share with you today.  I picked up Essie Lady Like the other day (she's been on my wishlist for quite sometime), it's such a beautiful neutral polish.

For my gradient, I used Essie Lady Like as my base and then I sponged on Formula X Aphrodite and then a layer of Sephora by OPI It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat.  I am so in love with this combo, and I think it would be a great look to wear for all those Holiday parties!

OPI White and Silver Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

It's been a while since I've had the time to play around with polish.  I started working outside the home recently, and it's been taking up a lot of my time.  I don't know how you full-time working ladies still manage to paint your nails so often!

I've been wanting to do a white to silver gradient nail for a while now, and I finally had some time to create it.  I used OPI It's in the Cloud and OPI My Signature is "DC".  I used a cosmetic sponge to sponge on the colors and get a nice melted gradient look.  I always start a gradient by painting all around my cuticles with Liquid Palisade by Kiesque.  It makes clean up an absolute breeze!

I used two coats of my fave topcoat: NYC Grand Central Station to make it all smooth.

Wedding Nails, Neutral Gradient

Hey Dolls!

I have a soft, neutral gradient mani to share with you today that I think would be perfect for the upcoming wedding season.  It is super soft and romantic with the peach tone, while still looking crisp and clean with that bright white.  I created this for a wedding manicure collaboration with Salon Supply Store.

The colors I used are OPI Stop I'm Blushing! and Essie Private Weekend.  I used a sponge and Liquid Palisade (see my review here) so the gradient was a breeze.

For my own wedding 14 years ago, I wore a classic french manicure.  What did you wear for your wedding day, or what WILL you wear on your wedding day?!  Have a great day loves!

Gradient Manicure, Liquid Palisade Review

Hey Dolls! 

I have a gradient/glitter/messy polish game changer for you guys!  I think I'm a little late to get on this band wagon, but oh man, I am ON IT now!  Kiesque, Liquid Palisade is like painter's tape for the nails!'  You can use it to get a nice clean line around your cuticles whether you are using glitter or just wanting a nice crisp line without the need for clean up!

I knew right away that I wanted to try a gradient using Liquid Palisade.  I love the look of gradients but loathe the clean up!  This makes it an absolute breeze!  First, you paint the Liquid Palisade all over your cuticles and let it dry.  You know it's dry when it turns a darker purple.

Once it's dry you paint/dab away with your regular polish and then just peel away the Liquid Palisade to reveal a perfectly crisp polish line!  So easy right?

I also received a French Manicure Liquid Palisade that has a long thin brush that you can use right on your nail to create an easy french manicure tip.

So how many of you have already used this product?  I am so glad that I found it and that it's actually easy to use and works perfectly!

OPI Venice Gradient Mani

Hey Dolls

I have a quick gradient to share with you today!  I used four polishes from the new OPI Venice Collection.  I grouped these four polishes together as soon as I opened up the Venice box and knew a gradient was in order!

On my pointer finger I am wearing, I Cannoli Wear OPI, which is a super pale gray-white.  My middle finger is Be There in a Prosecco, ring finger is Tiramisu for Two and pinky finger is A Great Opera-tunity.

Chillato Gradient

Hey Dolls!

It has been a while since I have done a gradient around here and I knew Essie Chillato would be a fun one to use!  I paired it with OPI Angel With a Leadfoot. First, I put down a basecoat using Angel With a Leadfoot and then I needed 4 coats of the two colors, using the sponge gradient technique.

Sunset Blvd with Sparkles

Hey Dolls

 

I picked up this pretty orange cream polish by Sonia Kashuk called Sunset Blvd.  This is my first Sonia Kashuk polish and I'm pretty impressed with it.  Orange polish can often need quite a few coats to even out the streakiness, but I only needed two coats of Sunset Blvd.

 

After a few days of wear, I added a Sally Girl polish called Diamonds on the tips.  I know that a lot of people don't like bar glitter, but I have really grown to love it!

 



 

 



Summer Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

 

I've got a pretty Summer gradient using Joe Fresh polishes today.  I love how gradients look like you put a lot of effort into your mani, but really it's super simple nail art!

 

I used Joe Fresh Melon and Lavender for the gradient and Starry for the accent nail.  On my thumb I wore Melon.

 

I used OPI Angel With A Leadfoot as a base for my gradient to make the colors pop.  I don't do this when I wear the colors on their own, but for sponging gradients I find it helps.

 



 



Twinsie Tuesday Re-do Week

For Twinsie Tuseday we get to choose a past theme to re-do.  Nothing really stuck out for me and I have been in the mood for a good gradient lately, so that's what I've chosen to do.

 

I used Essie Better Together and China Glaze Shocking Pink.  These were kind of hard to work with and I had to do about 5 layers with the sponge.

Purple and Gold Gradient

I recently saw a gold gradient that I was very drawn to on @build_a_nail on Instagram.  I knew I had to do something similar!

 

 

I used Color Club Express Yourself from the Pride Collection. (I think that it is also called Disco Dress, outside of this collection?)  This Purple cream is A-mazing.  It is seriously deep and bright at the same time.  Like a dark neon really.

 

I sponged Joe Fresh Champagne on the tips and then dragged the brush a bit further up on the nail.  I love how this looks!  A bit messy like an abstract painting.

 





Nude and Flourescent Gradient

Happy Monday, hope everyone had a great weekend.  We had girly sleepovers, swim dates, and lots of nail painting this weekend.  Couldn't ask for much better than that!

 

The mani I'm sharing with you today, just might be my all-time most favorite one!  Eva!  I have wanted to try this look ever since I saw @lafemmelulu on Instagram do one similar.

 

 

The polishes I used are Essie Better Together which is a lovely squishy pink jelly and Color Club East Austin.  I dabbed on a little Nicole by OPI Carrie'd Away on the tips.  So easy and such a fun look!

I dabbed on some chunkier glitter afterwards, but didn't end up liking the colors together.  Next time I'm going to use a purple polish and try a nice chunky glitter with it.

 





Seasonal Gradient, Twinsie Tuesday

We are showing you a Seasonal Gradient this week for Twinsie Tuesday.  I know that it's still early Winter and Spring is a while away, but I had to do something to incorporate Spring as the weather is so beautiful right now in BC.  The sun is shining and things are greening up and my bulbs are sprouting already.

 

I used Essie Rock The Boat and Clinique Hula Skirt with a dusting of China Glaze Fairy Dust on top.

Nude and White Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

 

Brrrrr!  It's getting cold in BC.  I'm going to be bustin out my Christmas decorations pretty soon.  Eeeeee! 

 

I finally tried a nude and white gradient a few weeks back.  I really love how it turned out!  I used OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.  I did three coats using a sponge.
