Sally Hansen Affairy to Remember

 My love affair with shimmer polishes is still going strong in 2025!  I have a gorgeous Sally Hansen polish to show you today called Affairy to Remember, an ethereal pale lavender with the prettiest soft green shimmer.

This is three coats of Affairy to Remember.

I can't wait to use Affairy to Remember as a topper.  I think it will look gorgeous over almost any colour!

Essie Polishes Swatch and Review

Hello! Happy New Year!  For my first post of 2025 I have some Essie polishes that were sent to me to share with you!

First up is Tailored by Twilight, a stunning deep purple-burgundy.

Throw in the Towel is a fun, bright pink with orange undertones.

I added a layer of Mystic Marine over top of Throw in the Towel.  The pink shimmer is so gorgeous!

 A friend of mine gifted me a whole bunch of random OPI's years ago and I'm still getting around to swatching them.

This beauty is Congeniality is My Middle Name from the Miss Universe 2011 Collection.

H&M Dewy Rose

 I recently placed an online order with H&M (my fave clothing store) and found out that they have nail polish!  I was so excited, I ordered 4 polishes and they are all gorgeous!

Dewy Rose is a soft, sheer pinky-lavender with the loveliest  pink shimmer.  I used three coats to build up the opacity.

Polished for Days 2021, Swatch and Review

 I purchased my first Polished for Days polish and it is even better than I could imagine!

2021 is a stunning blue polish with flashes of pink and then in certain lights, it flashes pale yellow to green.  It is sooo stunning.  I used 3 thin coats.

So I am officially hooked and need more of these magical polishes!

Zoya Dazzle Gradient Nail Art

I've been playing around with the new Zoya Dazzle Collection for Winter 2021.

I created a gradient using Zoya Dominique and Marlena.  I use a cosmetic sponge to apply the 2 polishes to give that filtered gradient look.

A-England At Leighton's Collection

I had the pleasure of receiving the new A-England  At Leighton's Collection.  These are my first A-England polishes and I am OBSESSED.  The polishes are so stunning to look at and so perfectly easy to swatch.  Most of them were one coaters which is always a win in my book!

Mashrabiya has gorgeous green-gold shimmer floating in a deep purple base.  I love how you can see the purple along the edges of my nail.

The Arab Hall is a soft lavender with flaming holo! This blue-violet is such a stunner!

Golden Dome is a peridot green with gorgeous blazing holo.

Peacock Blue Glaze is described as an iridescent teal-green tinged with gold and enlivened by a blazing prismatic hologram.

OPI Hawaiian Orchid Swatch

 I picked up OPI Hawaiian Orchid back in the Summer and finally got around to swatching this beauty!  

I have a bottle of OPI Nail Envy in the shade Hawaiian Orchid but it's not like this polish at all! It's less pink and doesn't have any shimmer.

OPI Downtown LA Collection Fall 2021

I have th gorgeous new OPI Downtown LA Collection for Fall 2021 to show you today.  There are so many beauties in this 12 piece collection.

First up is OPI <3 DTLA, a gorgeous Fall blue cream.  Two smooth, easy coats.

Violet Visionary is a stunning deep purple cream with a perfect formula.  Two easy coats.

Graffiti Sweetie is a soft, dusty lavender cream.  The formula was nice and thick, self leveling and covered my nail in two easy coats.

Espresso Your Inner Self is a rich, espresso brown cream.  I love this chocolate shade for Fall.  Two coats.

(P)Ink on Canvas is a soft, rose pink cream.  These kind of dusty pinks are so wearable, I will never get enough of them! Two easy coats.

7th and Flower is a stunning bold magenta cream.  Two easy coats.

My Studio's on Spring is a deep teal cream.  The formula is super saturated, I could've gotten away with one coat!

Isn't it Grand Avenue is a stunning inky blue.  I love how vampy this one is! Two coats.

Art Walk in Suzi's Shoes is a gorgeous candy apple red with a jelly finish.  I used 2 coats for this swatch and am kind of digging the visible nail line!

I wish I could have captured the holo better (or at all!) in Angels Flight to Starry Nights.  This is such a stunning polish and I love OPI's holos!  My indoor lights just wouldn't capture the holo flecks in here and it was a dreary BC Fall day out today, so no sun to show off the holo effect.

Abstract After Dark is a gorgeous inky purple with stunning flakies that shift from blue to purple.  Two easy coats.

Metallic Composition is a fave of mine from this collection.  It's a gorgeous rose gold metallic with nice big flecks.  I love metallic polishes, especially if they're rose gold!  Two coats

I picked up Essie Gossip N Spill the other day and am in love with this polish for Fall!

Gossip N Spill is a gorgeous berry red with the most gorgeous shimmer that makes it look like it's lit from within. This is just one coat!

OPI Malibu Collection for Summer 2021

I have the full OPI Malibu Collection for Summer 2021 to share with you today.  There are 6 neutrals and 6 brights in this gorgeous new collection. 

First up is Coastal Sand-tuary, an off-white cream.  I used 3 thin coats for my swatch.

From Dusk til Dune is a lovely sheer pink with fabulous blue-iridescent flakies.  I used tow coats for this swatch.

El Mat-adoring You is a beautiful soft caramel brown.  Two easy coats.

Bonfire Serenade is a rich taupe brown with a fabulous formula.  Two easy coats.

Endless Sun-ner is a rich rusty brown cream.  Two easy coats.

Cliffside Karaoke is a rich cocoa brown cream.  Two easy coats.

Mali-blue Shore is a stunning blue cream.  I have been loving blue polishes for a while now and this one is topping my list!

Pear-adise Cove is the coolest green cream.  I'm not usually one for green polishes but I think this one is so cool for Summer.

Marigolden Hour is a beautiful marigold yellow cream.  I was expecting to need 3 coats of this one, but 2 did it just fine!

The Sound of Vibrance has the most fabulous blue/purple shimmer in a purple base.  Two easy coats.

PCH Love Song is a rich and vibrant orange with orange shimmer running throughout.  This one is fiery hot and so gorgeous.

Strawberry Waves Forever is a fabulous magenta with bright pink flakies.  I am in love with this polish. Two easy coats.

Starrily Creme Polish Swatches

I have some beautiful new Starrily Creme Polishes to show you today.  There are so many beautiful colours in this beautiful new collection. There are 8 cremes and 2 shimmer toppers.

The formulas on all of these polishes are absolutely amazing.  Most of them are one coaters!

First up is Cloudscape, a stunning periwinkle blue.

Serenity is a lovely bright mauvey-purple.

Here is the topper Zephirine over top of Serenity.  Zephirine is a beautiful magenta shimmer topper.

Private Island is a beautiful sea blue creme.

Queen Bee is a such a cool yellow creme!  I love that this one is a bit of a darker mustard yellow for Summer.

Terracotta is a gorgeous terracotta orange creme.  I love this one!

Here is Sparkler over top of Terracotta.  Sparkler has orange shimmer that shifts to green depending on the lighting!

Gaia is a cool toned medium green creme.

Forest of the Night is a gorgeous rich, forest green creme.  I wasn't expecting to love this one as much as I do!

I'm wearing Zephirine on my pointer and middle fingers and Sparkler on my ring and pinkie.  Over top of Forest of the Night.

Empress is a deep royal blue.  Another stunner.

I had to put Zephirine over top of Empress.  How stunning!
