Zoya Candy, Color of the Month

Candy is Zoya's Color of the Month for April 2024.  Let me tell you, I am in LOVE with this neon pink creme!  It is soft yet bright which are my perfect neon shades.  A gorgeous cotton candy pink neon!

Zoya Valentine's Day Skittle Mani

I love picking polishes for a Skittle Mani.  They're so easy to create and make a big statement.  I used all Zoya polishes for this look: Shelby on my thumb and middle finger, Winnie on my pointer, Minnie on my ring and Kelsey on my pinkie.

Ella Mila Sun Has Set Swatch

 I finally got to try out an Ella Mila polish! We don't have them here in Canada so when my daughter went to America for a day trip, I had to her pick me out a polish.

She chose Sun Has Set, a gorgeous cool-toned bright pink.  The formula was fantastic, I was able to do one thick coat for full coverage.

Zoya Abundance Skittle Mani

I used 3 of the 6 new polishes in the Zoya Abundance Collection for Spring 2022 for a cute skittle mani.  I wearing Gwen on my thumb, pointer and middle finger, Kit on my ring finger and Ellis on my pinkie. I used the Zoya Glossy Seal on top for that gorgeous shine.

 I picked up a Nails Inc. duo from Winners a while ago and am in love with them both.  It came with a base coat and this beautiful soft, dusty pink shade, Mani Meditation.  This is their Plant Power line of polishes that are 21 free!

OPI Colorful Smoosh Nail Art

I was in the mood for a Smoosh Mani and love how this one turned out.  I used all OPI polishes, Marigolden Hour, OPI <3 to Party, Lavendare to Find Courage, Mod About You, Envy the Adventure and Funny Bunny.

Can you believe that I didn't add gold foil to this mani? Haha

OPI Hawaiian Orchid Swatch

 I picked up OPI Hawaiian Orchid back in the Summer and finally got around to swatching this beauty!  

I have a bottle of OPI Nail Envy in the shade Hawaiian Orchid but it's not like this polish at all! It's less pink and doesn't have any shimmer.

Essie French Affair Swatch and Review

I picked up another gorgeous Essie the other day.  French Affair is the sweetest medium pink crema with an amazing formula.  I almost got away with one coat.  I love their wide brushes, it makes everything so much easier!

Zoya Pink Smoosh Mani

Hey Dolls!

What a crazy time we are all having right now!  Looks like we have plenty of time to stay home for the next few weeks.  Praying that everyone stays safe!

I decided to use all Zoya polishes in a pink palette to make a smoosh mani.  It's been a while since I made one.

I used Zoya Joey, which is also on my pointer and pinkie fingers.  For the smoosh polishes I used Monroe, Brandi, Jordan, Minnie, Alicia and Nahla.

I love how sweet and Springy this turned out.  Of course I added a sprinkle of gold flakes on to finish the look.

OPI Pink Abstract Nail Art

It's been a while since I did some nail art!  I decided on an OPI Pink Abstract look with rose gold flakes.

I used all OPI polishes from the Infinite Shine Collection, Beyond the Pale Pink, Half Past Nude, No Strings Attached and Follow Your Bliss.  The black dots are OPI Never Have too Mani Friends!

Pink Valentine's Day Polka Dot Mani

Happy Valentine's Day Loves!  I hope you are all doing something fabulous today and feeling the LOVE!

I have a sweet, pink polka dot mani to share with you for Valentine's Day.  I used OPI What's the Double Scoop? from the Retro Summer 2016 Collection (see my full collection swatches here).  I used my dotting tool and added a few white polka dots to my ring finger, and topped it off with my fave top coat NYC Grand Central Station.

Browns and Pink Glitter Skittle Manicure

Hiya Dolls!

Back at it again with the skittle mani's!  I mixed polish brands this time, using OPI, NOPI and Sally Hansen.  I wanted something sweet and romantic so I went with soft browns, grey and a fun pink glitter bomb!

On my pointer finger I am wearing Sally Hansen Color Therapy Line in Steely Serene.  My middle finger is NOPI Wear Something Spar-Kylie.  My ring finger is OPI Squeaker of the House and my pinkie is OPI Pale to the Chief, both of which are from the OPI Washington DC collection for Fall 2016, see full swatches here).  In case you are curious, I am wearing OPI Pale to the Chief on my thumb.

Rose Gold by Joe Fresh

Hey Dolls

I have a pretty big rose gold obsession, I've always loved it.  I mean gold is pretty amazing, then add some pink to that?!  Fabulous-ness.  You all know by now how much I love Joe Fresh polishes, so when I saw Rose Gold, it of course went straight into my basket.

Formula was great, it is super opaque so you can get away with just one coat.  I used two coats for my swatches.  Since it is a metallic, there are some brush strokes, but who cares, am-I-right?  It dried super quick, and my topcoat made it nice and shiny.

Happy New Year Dolls!

For my first post of 2015, I'm super excited to share a few polishes from the new OPI Hawaii Collection for Spring/Summer 2015.

First up is Is Mai Tai Crooked?  I LOVE this gorgeous 'fruity' orange cream.  I don't have anything like it in my collection.  Two medium coats.

Next is Suzi Shops and Island Hops, a gorgeous, soft pink cream.  Formula was good, two medium coats.  I own a fair amount of pink polishes, but this pretty pink shade is unique to my collection.

The last polish I have to share with you is My Gecko Does Tricks, a stunning pearly green.  I wasn't expecting to like this polish as greens aren't really my thing, but this was soooo fun on the nail!  Definitely catches your attention.  Formula was fantastic, two easy coats.

Orly Two-hour Lunch

Last week I went on a last minute trip with my friend to Palm Springs with her kids and my girls.  We had the best time and it was wonderful to get some sun and visit with my friend and her kids!  I feel refreshed!

Whilst shopping away in Palm Springs, I of course picked up a few new polishes.  First one to show you is Orly Two-hour Lunch.  I'm not even sure how to describe this pink other than it is gorrrrrgeous!

I need to have a swatch-athon pretty quick here, the polishes are piling up!  Stay tuned :)

Sinful Colors Starfish

I picked up Starfish by Sinful Colors the other week and this is the prettiest dusty pink ever!  Formula was fantastic, two easy coats and perfectly opaque.  I wore Starfish for at least 5 days and only had a little tip wear.

I hope Starfish is one of their core colors because I'm sure I will use this entire bottle.  I better get a back up just in case.

OPI Pink of Hearts 2014

I have the 8th annual Pink Of Hearts 2014 polishes to share with you today.  Pink of Hearts 2014 includes two polishes sold in one pack, Mod About You and the new glittery The Power of Pink.  Both are wrapped with a pink ribbon cap in support of breast cancer month. 

 

First up is the lovely light pink cream polish, Mod About You.  I used three coats to even it all out.

 

 

 

Next is The Power of Pink, a gorgeous sparkly pink jelly loaded with micro and macro glitters in white and magenta.  I used three coats for my swatch, application was really easy, no need to 'place' glitters.

 

 

 

This duo-pack will be available in stores in September and October 2014.

 

 

China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le and More

I've got a few random polishes to show you today.  I picked these up in stores here and there over the last couple weeks.

 

First up is China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le.  I love the shade periwinkle, and while I have a few shades of periwinkle that I like, I feel like this is the perfect one!  Two coats for my swatch.

 

Next is Maybelline Hibiscus Haven.  You know me and my pinks, this one had to come home with me!  Two smooth coats.

 



I love this gorgeous grape color by NYC called Jam & Nap.  This was in a new NYC display at my Walmart. Again, two coats but this dried really quickly so I had to work fast.

 



 

Last but definitely not least is this lovely, new lavender by Sally Hansen called Water Orchid.  I know Sally Hansen has replaced some of their core line and I'm wondering if this is the new Lacey Lilac.  Anyone know?  It's very similar either way.
