Zoya Cosmic Pop Swatches and Review

 pr samples

Wait til you see the new Zoya Cosmic Pop swatches!  These polishes are so sparkly, so shimmery, so holo, so glittery, so flashy, I'm in love.

There are 3 holo glitters in the Cosmic Pop Collection and they are limited edition.  These fabulous holos are inspired by star clusters and have metallic glitter and hoographic particles in 5 different shades.  They have a soft textured finish or you can put a coat of the Zoya Ultra Glossy Top Coat to smooth it out.

First up is Celestia and she is my fave out of the 3 glitters.  In the first pic, I show her without top coat, you can see that it is a bumpy finish but it's soft, not jaggedy.

Polaris is a goldy version of Celestia.  There is the prettiest pink/purple flash in this beauty.  I love this one too!

Eradani is a fabulous purple glitter holo. I love the blue flash in there.

Do you love these glitter holos as much as I do? Which is your fave?

OPI Shine Bright Holiday Collection 2020

 samples

Hey Dolls!

I'm super excited to show you the new OPI Shine Bright Collection for the Holidays of 2020.  This collection is filled with sparkles, shimmer and frostiness!  There are so many unique and unexpected polishes in the Shine Bright Collection, there is only one cream in the whole collection.

Heart and Coal has the most gorgeous holo glitter and silver shimmer mixed into a black base.  I used two coats for my swatch and two coats of top coat as it does dry bumpy.

Snowfalling for You is a lovely soft pinky-apricot frost.  You all know how much I love a frosty polish so I am in love with this beauty.  I ended up using three coats for my swatch because I could still see some nail line.

This Shade is Ornamental is described as a velvety rose-pink.  This one is a winner for me, I love how unexpected it is for the Holidays.  Two easy coats.

Gingerbread Man Can is a spicy brown with lovely silver shimmer running throughout.

This Gold Sleighs Me is like liquid gold dripping on your nails.  Fantastic formula, two easy coats.

Merry in Cranberry is a gorgeous frosted cranberry red.  Two perfect coats.

Dressed to the Wines is a frosted malbec red.  Perfect formula, two coats.

Let's Take an Elfie is a sparkly violet purple.  The shimmer in this one is so gorgeous.  Two easy coats.

Red-y for the Holidays is the perfect Christmas red cream.  Fabulous formula, almost a one coater!

Naughty or Ice? is a sparkly, shimmery champagne shade.  I needed three coats to get a bit more opacity.  This is one where there will be visible nail line.

Tinsel Tinsel 'Lil Star is an icy, sparkly silver.  Two coats.

To All a Goodnight is a shimmery midnight blue with the most gorgeous flecks running throughout.

There we have it, the gorgeous new OPI Shine Bright Collection for the Holidays 2020.  I think there are so many unexpected beauties for this Holiday Season.  Which one is your favourite?

You can purchase the OPI Shine Bright Collection at select stores and salons across the country.

Have a great day loves,

Matte Nude and Sparkle

Hey Dolls!

Hope your Summer is going fabulously!  I haven't had much time for swatching this Summer, I've been sorting, cleaning and packing for our move at the end of this month.  How on earth am I going to move my polishes?  Does anyone have any tips for me?

I rarely ever mattify my mani's, I have such a hard time covering up anything that is shiny!  I was in the mood for a matte mani though so I pulled out Excuse Me, Big Sur! from the OPI California Dreaming Collection for Summer 2017 (see my swatches of the full collection here) and Ce-less-tial is More from the OPI Starlight Collection 2015 (see my swatches from the full collection here).  I used OPI's Matte Top Coat on top.

Have a great day lovelies and hit me up with some tips if you've ever moved your polish collection!

Nude Sparkle OPI Manicure

Hiya Dolls!

I have a nude skittle mani with a bit of sparkle to share with you today.  The weather here in BC Canada hasn't been the most 'Summery' lately, so I haven't been reaching for my usual neons at this time of year.  Instead, I have been reaching for nudes, I think the recent Sally Hansen Play It Neutral and OPI Infinite Shine The Nuances of Neutral Collections have  inspired that.

On my pointer and middle finger I am wearing OPI Infinite Shine No Strings Attached.  My ring finger is OPI Ce-less-tial is More and my pinkie finger is OPI Infinite Shine Hurry Up & Wait.

Have a great day loves, and hope your Summer is a little more 'Summery' than mine!

Love

I Love Nail Polish, My Private Rainbow

Hey Dolls!

I am a huge fan of Barbra, the creator of I Love Nail Polish.  As soon as I saw My Private Rainbow, (such a cute name!) which is a linear holo topcoat, I knew I had to have it!  I love that you can turn ANY polish into a holo.

This is just one smooth coat over NYC Times Square.  Indoor lighting, no top coat.

The holo really comes out to play in the sunshine.  The linear effect is a bit subtle, but the holo sparklies are very pretty.  Next time, I will try two coats of MPR.

And here is my base coat, NYC Times Square.  I love this pink-toned red!

Twinsie Tuesday, Chanukuh

Welcome to Twinsie Tuesday!
We are showing a Chanukuh inspired mani today!
I decided to use white, blue and gold/yellow for my colors.  My white is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (my favorite white of all time!)  The blue is China Glaze Dorothy Who? a lovely silver glitter in a blue base.  My gold/yellow is Wet and Wild Give Me A Price Quote, which is chocked full of gold bar glitter.

Be sure to check out my other Twinsie's and take a peek at their Hanukkah inspired mani's.

What's Your Name?

Hello friends!

I've got a beautiful polish to show you today, sent to me by my lovely friend Amanda.  It is Sinful Colors What's Your Name?  And she is a beauty, no?

Isn't that greeny blue shimmer amazing?!  Makes me think of the universe.  In a couple of the bottle shots you can see a shift to pink/purple, but that didn't show up on the nail.

I used 3 thin coats to ensure the coverage I like.  This polish was the perfect consistency for me, so easy to work with.
