Twinsie Tuesday Circus Inspired

Hey Dolls, welcome to Twinsie Tuesday.

 

Today's theme is the Circus.  I wasn't too excited about this weeks theme, until, I got started on my mani.  I really love how it turned out!

 

For my pointer I used striping tape from The Born Pretty Store.  The striping tape was so perfect and easy to use.  I used mine as a template and just peeled it off after for perfectly straight lines.  The polishes on my pointer are Wet n Wild White and Nicole by OPI Kourt Is Red-y For A Pedi.  That's the 'Big Top Tent'. 

My middle finger is inspired by the 'tights' of the acrobatics using Zoya Shelby.  My ring finger is inspired by the Elephants (with a little sparkle!) using Joe Starry.  And since the circus is so full of colors, I just decided to go green for my pinky with Bettina Ortensia.

Twinsie Tuesday Fish Tail Mani

Hello hello

 

This weeks TT was a fish tail mani, and mine failed miserably.  All 5 attempts, yeah, that's right, 5!  So after painting my nails for the 6th time, I decided to just leave it alone and take pics.  I seriously considered just painting a little black fish tail on there, but I'd probably have messed that up too.

 

 

So here are two pretty polishes anyway...China Glaze For Audrey and Bettina Disco Boogie.  Promise I'll do better next time yall.

Bettina Disco Boogie

I got a lovely little package in the mail the other day from Nory at Fierce Makeup and nails, containing my very first Bettina polish!  It was a thank you for participating in her Blogger Love week.  What a sweetheart to send a thank you polish!  I was so excited to get it!  Thank you again Nory!!!!

Here she is....

Sooooo lovely!  There are flashes of light pink, medium purple, dark purple and blue depending on the light.  I couldn't stop staring!



These last 2 pics are under my lamp.  There was a really awesome orange flash in the bottle, but I couldn't get it to show on the nail.



I am officially in love with Bettina polishes!



Fierce Makeup and Nails Guest Post

Hi Lovelies, popping in today with a guest post from a great new friend of mine, Nory from Fierce Makeup and Nails.  I've gotten to know her a lot better lately and feel like she has taken me under her polish wing!  Don't for get to check out her great blog and leave her some love!

Hello!!

My name is Nory, and I have a little blog called Fierce Makeup and Nails. 

I was beyond excited when the lovely Anne asked me to do a guest post in her blog. I have really enjoyed getting to know her through this wonderful love of polish.

I decided to share with you all a new polish I recently received all the way from Puerto Rico. It is Bettina Hot Pants, from the Disco Collection. A gorgeous blue with flashes of purple and pink. I shocked me how epic it was with just two coats. To spice this mani up a little bit I decided to add an accent using a Bundle Monster stamping plate with Bettina Marshmallow.  

I was instantly attracted to this blue, since I love blues so much, I just had to do a mani as quick as possible!
