Dreamy Nails

I have been loving shimmery glowy nails recently so I picked 3 different polishes to layer together.  I wish I could bottle this polish!

I started with Cirque Colors Champagne Diamond which is a gorgeous gold glitter with holographic glitter.  I then did a layer of Nails Inc Addison which has blue shimmer in a pink base.  Lastly, I applied a layer of Essie Ethereal Escape which has glitter that shifts from blue to purple to pink.

What do you think of these three polishes together?

Cirque Colors Valentine's Abstract Nail Art

 pr samples

I'm so excited to share this Cirque Colors Abstract Nail Art with you!  I love how this one turned out, I think it's perfect for Valentine's Day.

I used all Cirque Colors for this look: Sartorial, Spotted in Soho and Blushing Queens.  I created a quick video tutorial and shared to Instagram if you want to see how I create these Abstract looks.

I also tried a new to me technique to create the black splatter.  I used acrylic paint and flicked it onto my nail, it worked great and I love the end result.  I added gold leaf as usual!

Hope you have a great day loves and a very happy Valentine's Day!

Red and Green Christmas Nails

Hey Lovelies!

Can you believe that it's Christmas in just one week?  I figured I had better get a Christmas mani up while I can!  I decided on a red and green sponge mani, you can't get much more Christmassy than that!

I used Cirque Colors Emerald and Garnet.  I sponged them on with a makeup sponge and put two thick coats of top coat on to make them nice and smooth.

I feel like this would be the perfect mani to wear to an ugly Christmas Sweater Party! Haha

Have a great day lovelies!

Cirque Colors Dreamscape Collection, Swatches and Review

PR SAMPLES

I have the new Cirque Colors Dreamscape Collection to show you today!  This is the last collection for 2018 and I have to say that Cirque Colors killed it this year with all of their gorgeous collections.  The 7-piece Dreamscape Collection is absolutely stunning!  They are the dreamiest colors with stunning shimmers and tiny holo glitters.

The formulas on all of these are easy to work with but a bit sheer, so I needed 3 coats to cover my nail line. If you have shorter nails than mine, you should be able to get away with just 2 coats.

First up is Reverie, a delicate mauve pink-nude with the most gorgeous soft purple shimmer.  This one just glowed beautifully on my nails.

Cirque Colors Reverie

Deja Vu is a slate grey with beautiful soft purple shimmer.

Cirque Colors Deja Vu

Cloud Nine is a stunning lavender purple with vibrant pink shimmer.  This one is my favorite!

Cirque Colors Cloud Nine

Paradiso is a gorgeous mint-turquoise green with soft pink shimmer.  Such a pretty combination!

Cirque Colors Paradiso

Lucid Dream is a vivid ocean blue with violet shimmer.

Nocturne is a deep periwinkle blue with stunning teal shimmer.

REM is a deep blue with glowing green shimmer.

Fall Drip Marble Manicure

Hiya Lovelies!

I used a couple of the new Cirque Colors Metropolis Fall/Winter 2018 Collection (see swatches here) to create a Fall inspired Drip Marble Mani.  I also used a couple polishes from the Cirque Colors Facets Collection.

Fall Drip Marble Mani

To create the Drip Marble, I placed a few drops of polish onto a piece of plastic (I just use a ziplock bag) and then I pick up the plastic and turn it around and around to let the colors swirl together.  Let dry for about 4 hours and then peel off plastic.  To adhere to the nail, I first put a base coat on and then working quickly, I place the design on nail and smooth out all the edges.  I use pure acetone to get a nice smooth line around my cuticles.

I used four Cirque Colors polishes for this look, Smokey Quartz, Rose Quarts, Minetta and Carnegie.  I added a few pieces of gold foil (which I buy from Michael's craft stores) and then top coat to smooth everything out.

I'm wearing Minetta on my thumb nail if you are curious.

Have a great day loves!
