OPI Dreamy Summer Smoosh Mani

PR SAMPLES

Hey Dolls!

Hope you are all having a fabulous Summer!  Our weather hasn't been the best but the forecast is showing lots of sun next week so that means a beach day for me!

Even though I love bright colors for Summer, I was in the mood for something soft and dreamy.  I used all OPI Infinite Shine shades for this Smoosh Mani.

OPI Dreamy Summer Smoosh Mani

The polishes I used are Funny Bunny, Bubble Bath, Eternally Turquoise, Reach for the Sky, Polly Want a Lacquer? and I'm Not Really a Waitress.

For my Smoosh Mani's, I drop a few drops of each color onto a piece of plastic, then swirl them together with a toothpick and pick up the polish with a stamper and then stamp that onto my nail.

I always add a bit of gold foil flakes to finish off the look.

Have a great day loves!

OPI Spring Marble Smoosh Mani

Hello Lovelies!

Spring has finally sprung here in BC and I couldn't wait to make a Springy Marble Smoosh mani.

I used all OPI polishes, Rice Rice Baby and Chopstix and Stones from the Tokyo Spring 2019 Collection (see swatches here).  Stop I'm Blushing from the Soft Shades 2016 collection (swatches here).  Life Gave Me Lemons from the Brights Collection, 2016 (see swatches here).  Suzi Without a Paddle in the Infinite Shine formula from the Fiji Collection, 2017 (see swatches here).

As always, I added a few pieces of rose gold foil (I buy mine at Michaels craft stores and top coated the design.

OPI Autumn Gradient Manicure

Hiya Lovelies!

I received some gorgeous little multicolored flakies from Born Pretty Store and have been trying to think of a way to use them.  I decided on an OPI Autumn Gradient Manicure and then I just dabbed a few of the little flakies on here and there.

The polishes I used for my gradient are OPI Infinite Shine in No Strings Attached and In Familiar Terra-tory.  I always use a makeup sponge to create my gradients and I use NYC Grand Central Station for my top coat.

OPI Infinite Shine My Private Jet

Hiya Dolls!

I found OPI My Private Jet in the Infinite Shine Formula!  OPI  released the 'original' My Private Jet in the Infinite Shine Formula a few months ago, so I was so happy to find it at Chatters Salon.  I have wanted to original formula for years now, I'm so happy to add it to my collection.

The two My Private Jet formulas that I own are pretty different from each other.  This is the fourth time that OPI has released My Private Jet.  I don't own the first or second release, only the third and now the fourth.  The third formula is a chocolate brown with holo flakies.  The fourth Infinite Shine formula is a lighter more greyish-purplish brown than the third formula and it has little holo flakies and also is also a linear holo.  The linear holo didn't show up under my lights, but I'm hoping it will be noticeable in direct sunlight!

If you want to see my post on the third version of My Private Jet, click here.

Do you have any versions of My Private Jet?

Have a great day lovelies!

OPI Infinite Shine Fiji Spring/Summer 2017

PRESS SAMPLES

Hey Dolls!

I have the brand new OPI Infinite Shine Fiji Collection for Spring/Summer 2017 to show you today!  This collection is so bright and fabulous and is making me dream of sandy beaches, aqua water, sunshine and flip flops.  It is currently snowing here in BC, so a girl can only dream!

First up is Two-timing the Zones, a bright and beautiful pink cream.  The formula was a bit sheer, so I used 3 coats to build it up to full opacity.

Getting Nadi on My Honeymoon is a lovely pale pink cream.  The formula is thick, make sure you let each coat dry completely before you start another one.  I used 3 coats.

Polly Want a Lacquer? is the loveliest pale lilac purple.  The formula was great, I used 2 coats for perfect opacity!

Living On the Bula-vard! is a crazy bright and fabulous coral cream.  The formula is fine, 2 easy coats.

No Tan Lines is a juicy orange cream.  I'm not usually a fan of orange, but I really liked this one on me, so bright and cheery.  The formula was a bit thick but easy to work with, I used 2 coats for this swatch.

Exotic Birds Do Not Tweet is a bright, sunny yellow.  Why the heck did it make my fingers look soooo red?  Anyways...I needed 3 coats of this yellow, which is pretty typical for yellow polishes.

I Can Never Hut Up is a grey cream polish with the prettiest aqua shimmer.  The formula was perfect, 2 easy coats.

Is That a Spear In Your Pocket? is a stunning teal blue cream.  The formula on this is super awesome, 2 very pigmented coats!  Make sure you double up with your base coat on this beauty, as shades like this often stain your nail beds.

Suzi Without a Paddle is a sweet aqua blue, and it is my hands down fave of this collection.  I absolutely love the hint of green in this beauty.  The formula was fine, I used 2 thickish coats for my swatch.

Coconuts Over OPI is a light tan cream.  The formula is perfect on this one, it's very pigmented.  I did 2 easy coats.

Super Trop-i-cal-i-fiji-istic is a rich, sky blue cream.  This is a one coater (like a lot of blues), so smooth and easy to apply!

Do You Sea What I Sea? is gorgeous blue with shimmer that shifts from blue to purple.  The formula is pretty watery on this one, I needed 3 coats to get the opacity that I like.

The OPI Infinite Shine Fiji Collection for Spring/Summer 2017 is available now in professional salons and select retailers.

Will you be picking up any (or all!) polishes from the Fiji Collection?  Which one is your fave?

Have a great weekend lovelies!

OPI Infinite Shine Primer and Gloss and 30 Iconic Shades

PRESS SAMPLES

Hey Dolls!

Coming this January 2017, OPI is launching new Infinite Shine Primer and Gloss.  The three step system has a new formula which features ProStay technology that offers up to 11 days of gel-like wear and shine.  The updated Primer offers less chipping and the updated Gloss is even shinier than before!

Along with the new Primer and Gloss, 30 additional iconic OPI shades will launch in January 2017.

First up, from the 2015 Hawaii Collection is That's Hula-rious! a sweet minty green cream.  I've wanted this shade for a while now so I was super happy when it was included in the iconic shades!  The formula was fine to work with, but I did need three coats to try and even out the streaks.

Cosmo Not Tonight Honey! is from the 2003 Russia Collection.  It's a lovely gold-champagne metallic.  There are lots of brush strokes with this one, but it's a pretty shade nonetheless. The formula was super great, two easy coats.

Sweet Heart is an absolutely perfect pale pink!  I adore shades like this.  I believe this is from one of the Soft Shade Collections.  The formula was a bit thick and I still needed three coats of it to even everything out.

Got the Blues for Red is a deep, dark red cream.  The formula was great and easy to work with, two coats.

OPI Red is a pink-leaning red with very fine pink shimmer.  I really love this one!  The formula was pretty thick but super easy to work with.  It's very pigmented, I used two coats, but I feel like you can get away with one because it is so thick (in a good way!).

The new, updated Primer and Gloss

These iconic shades and the new Primer and Gloss will be available in select stores and salons in January 2017.  The other 25 shades are:

Autumn Skittle Mani

Hiya Dolls!

When I received some of the OPI Infinite Shine Iconic polishes last week, I knew that a Skittle Mani was in order!  Sometimes, my favorite part of a collection are how the colors look all together.  I love to play around and find what ones compliment each other for a skittle mani.

On my pointer finger I am wearing OPI Infinite Shine You Don't Know Jacques!  I needed a little bling, so I used OPI Bring on the Bling for my middle finger.  My ring finger is OPI Infinite Shine Lincoln Park after Dark and my pinkie is OPI Infinite Shine Dulce de Leche.

In case you are curious, I am wearing OPI Dulce de Leche on my thumb.

Have a great day lovelies!

OPI Infinite Shine Iconic Shades for Fall 2016

PR SAMPLE

Hey Dolls!

OPI Infinite Shine has added a new Ambassador, Pyper America Smith and 30 Iconic Shades to their line.  The Infinite Shine line is a 3 step system (base, color and top coat) that doesn't require a light and offers up to 10 days of chip resistant wear and high shine.

Funny Bunny is a sheer white with a gorgeous jelly finish.  I used three coats for my swatch and the formula is super easy to work with.  I already have this one in my collection and the formula is the same.

Bubble Bath is a sheer pink with a jelly finish.  I love polishes like this, they just make your nails look so healthy and 'polished'.  This was another one that I already had in my collection, so I'm happy to get it in the Infinite Shine formula.  I used three coats for my swatch.

The rest of the polishes below are all new to me, so I'm so excited to have them in my collection!

Strawberry Margarita is a beautiful bright pink.  I love a good pink!  The formula is amazing, two easy coats!

Cajun Shrimp is a stunning coral cream.  This one is my fave of the ten polishes I received.  The formula was great, especially for a coral (I always get streaks with corals).  I used two easy peasy coats for perfect coverage.

Big Apple Red is basically THE perfect red polish!  A great staple to have in your collection.  The formula is fantastic, two easy coats.

Malaga Wine is a deep red wine shade.  I love vampy polishes like this, especially for Fall/Winter.  Two easy coats gave perfect opacity.

I'm Not Really a Waitress is a stunning deep red/burgundy with the most amazing shimmer throughout.  Perfect formula, two easy coats.

Dulce de Leche is a caramel nude cream.  In the bottle, there is a slight white shimmer, but it doesn't translate to the nail.  The formula is perfect, two coats.

You Don't Know Jacques! is a gorgeous, rich mauve with grey undertones.  I have been wanting this polish for such a long time!  The formula is fantastic, two coats is all you'll need.

Lincoln Park After Dark is the deepest purple cream.  This definitely looks black on the nails, but in certain lighting, you can see a hint of purple.  The formula is super easy to work with, two coats for my swatch.

The Infinite Shine Iconic collection is available in select stores and salons as of September 1, 2016.
