Glitter Cowboy by Olive & June is the dreamiest most ethereal polish!  It is a sheer pink-leaning lavender with the prettiest flakies floating around.

I used 3 thin coats for the coverage I was wanting.

Essie Smoosh Nail Art

I'm wishing for Spring with this bright Smoosh Mani.  I used all Essie polishes for this look: Play Date, Strut Your Stuff,  Peach Side Babe and Double Breasted Jacket.

I used iridescent flakies from Born Pretty Store and a thick top coat to make it all smooth.

OPI Don't Wait. Create. Swatch and Review

My favourite polish from the new OPI Power of Hue Collection for Summer 2022 is called Don't Wait. Create.  It's a beautiful orchid purple with the sweetest white flakies running throughout.  This is 2 coats.

Whats Up Nails Frosted Tips Collection, Swatch and Review

Hey Dolls!

I have an exciting new Whats Up collection to share with you today!  Frosted Tips is a 6 piece collection which has 2 special effects polishes, a thermal and a flash reflective! 

Starting off with Teal Good Moment and she is a stunner! Teal Good Moment is a stunning teal with fabulous micro glitters and shimmers.

To and Froyo is a sweet and delicate pale lilac cream.  Two easy coats.

Slippery When Cold is an ice blue with loads of white shimmery flakes.  I used 3 coats here.

Cherry-bration is a fabulous cherry red with beautiful shimmer running throughout.  Two easy coats.

The Glint Life is such a cool polish!  It has tiny micro holos and micro glitters that are flash reflective!  See next pic with the flash on.

Last but not least we have the gorgeous thermal, Pump the Rakes.  This vampy deep burgundy changes to a lovely jelly light red when it warms up.  The flakes in here just make it even cooler!

Hey Dolls,

I have two beautiful Starrily polishes to share with you today.  Diamond Rain and Alternate Universe were created by Kelli Marissa and they are so stunning! They both are one coaters which makes them even more perfect in my books!

These would be great at anytime of year but I feel like they are so perfect for Fall and Winter.

First up is Alternate Universe, a stunning deep purple with the most gorgeous holo flakies.  This looks like a universe on your nails!  

Diamond Rain is a rich blue with those fabulous holo flakies.

Zoya Pastel Abstract Nail Art

Hey Dolls!

I have been wanting to find a way to use these pretty flakies that were sent to me from the Born Pretty Store, and I figured that Abstract Nails were the way to show them off.

I have been wearing this all weekend and don't want to take them off!

I used all Zoya polishes for this look: Joey, April and Birch.  I scattered the flakies on my nail and topped it all of with a generous amount of top coat.

Zoya Agnes Rose Gold Foil Mani

Happy Mother's Day!

Zoya Agnes is one of my favorite dusty pink polishes to wear.  I've been wanting to use my rose gold flakes that I picked up from Micheals so I decided to pair it with Zoya Agnes for my Mother's Day mani.

I love how this simple mani turned out.  I'm planning to use this foil more often to add a bit more interest to just a regular cream polish.

Zoya Innocence Collection, Spring 2019

Hello Lovelies!

I'm so excited to share the new Zoya Innocence Collection for Spring 2019 with you today!  I couldn't be more in love with this unique take on a Spring collection.  I live in BC Canada and we get a lot of stormy Spring weather so this collection is very fitting for us!

First up is Birch, a lovely dusty lavender cream.  This one is so sweet and perfect for a Spring transition shade.  Two perfect coats.

Agnes is a warm toned muted blush and she is my fave of the collection!  This is the perfect blush nude and I will be wearing it all Spring, heck all YEAR!  I think this is my new fave nude!

Aire is a rich, dusty periwinkle blue with a fabulous formula.  One coat is all you'll need for this beauty.

Evette is described as 'a softened grape with a pink undertone'.  Such a beautiful purple to brighten up a dreary day.  Another perfect formula, one coat!

Fern is a gorgeous sage green with the most beautiful golden-green shimmer running throughout.  Great formula, two coats.

Theo is a stormy grey with dark blue mini glitter, small pewter flakies and large irregular shaped silver shards.  This is a thunderstorm in a bottle!  Such a cool polish.  I used two coats for my swatch.

OPI Autumn Gradient Manicure

Hiya Lovelies!

I received some gorgeous little multicolored flakies from Born Pretty Store and have been trying to think of a way to use them.  I decided on an OPI Autumn Gradient Manicure and then I just dabbed a few of the little flakies on here and there.

The polishes I used for my gradient are OPI Infinite Shine in No Strings Attached and In Familiar Terra-tory.  I always use a makeup sponge to create my gradients and I use NYC Grand Central Station for my top coat.

Orly Frenemy

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!  The Holidays got away from me and I didn't have much time to do my nails.  We had a wonderful Christmas with family and it actually snowed, so we finally had a white Christmas!

My daughter Loralai bought me Orly Frenemy as a Christmas present, and it is so gorgeous!  It has flakies and holographic micro glitter in a black base.  Formula was easy to work with,  I used three coats to make it opaque.

Now I need to play around today and come up with a New Year's Eve mani!  We are hosting a party for our daughter's friends for New Year's Eve, so we will have 8 tweens running around tomorrow night!  Should be fun!

Vampy Thanksgiving Mani

We just celebrated Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, and I am utterly stuffed!  The weather is starting to feel more Fall-like so I wanted to wear a vampy mani for the weekend.

 

 

On my pointer, pinkie and thumb nails, I wore OPI I Sing In Color.  On my middle finger I am wearing OPI Love, Angel, Music, Baby and on my ring finger I am wearing OPI DS Extravagance.

 

 

I'm off to the gym now!

 





Joe Fresh Kaleidoscope

I am getting so excited that Fall is almost here!  I can feel Summer winding down and I'm looking forward to crisp air, sweaters and boots and especially dark nails!

 

To kick start my dark nails for Fall I have a brand new Joe Fresh polish called Kaleidoscope to show you.  Kaleidoscope is so complex!  The base is a grey jelly and it has flakies and microglitter that flash gold to pink to green!

 

This is a super unique polish that I think is perfect for Fall!





Essie Parka Perfect

I picked up Parka Perfect a while ago and just got around to swatching it.  It is a beautiful muted blue with grey undertones and the sweetest little flakies swimming around.  I used Wet n Wild Going Platinum from the Fergie Collection on my ring finger.

 

I don't often buy Essie and I'm not sure why because I absolutely LOVE the few that I own!

 

 





Sally Hansen It's Chiff-on!

I have been so into PINK polish lately, I can't seem to get enough of it.  I would definately say that I have more pink polishes than any other color in my collection.  So of course when I saw Sally Hansen It's Chiff-on! I knew I had to have it.

 

It's Chiff-on! is a lovely peachy-pink with tiny gold flakies.  Are you kidding me?  That's got to be the perfect combo!

 

Application was fantastically smooth and easy.  Two coats, with no streaks or bald spots.

 

 

I feel like I pass up a lot of Sally Hansen polishes, which is silly because they have a lot of really great shades!  This one is definately a win in my book!

 

 





Finger Paints Rockin Renaissance

I had no idea when I bought Finger Paints Rockin Renaissance from Sally's the other day that it was a textured polish.  It looked so amazing in the bottle but I was shocked when I was putting it on.  Even though I'm not a huge fan of textured polishes, Rockin Renaissance is flippin amazing.

 

 

There is so much gorgeousness going on here!  I mean....look at it!

 

Of course I had to put a top coat on (two actually) and if I thought I loved it before, now I've died and gone to heaven!  I bought it for that gold flakie goodness that I saw in the bottle, but I had no idea that it would be this stunning.  I think it's the textured chunky finish that makes it have so much depth.

Ah-mazing.  I cannot get enough of Rockin Renaissance.

 





OPI Congeniality Is My Middle Name

I'm wearing OPI Congeniality Is My Middle Name, which is a stunning berry jelly with lovely pink glass flakes and shimmer. 

 

I just couldn't capture the awesomeness that is this polish!  I'm so glad I picked it up, I don't normally lean to colors like this, but it was love at first swipe!

 



Orly Androgynie

I can't believe I've had Orly Androgynie sitting on my untried shelf for long.  This polish is so gorgeous.  There are blue, green and orange hex glitters along with gold flakies and tiny holo glitters in a soft black base.

 

 

Do you guys have Androgynie and love it like me?

 





OPI It's Real Gold 18K Top Coat

 Hey Dolls!

 

I wore this studded mani a few weeks ago and really loved how it looked!  I used Revlon Dreamer which is one of my all time fave blues.  I added a layer of Sephora by OPI It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat.  Joe Starry is on my pinky, and the sweet little gold studs are from Claires.

Beauty UK Eletric Blue with Flakies

I have another Beauty UK polish for you today.  Eletric Blue (not sure if that is a typo but that's how it's spelled on the label) is a gorgeous blue with incredible shimmer.  I am super impressed with the formula of this brand.  Two coats gives perfect opacity.

 

I had to layer some flakies over this gorgeous blue.  I used a generous coat of Essie Shine Of The Times which has flakies that shift from red to green.  Yum yum.

 



If you are like me you can never have too many flakies.  So on top of that I added a coat of Finger Paints Motley which has flakies that shift from purple to green.
