Finger Paints Warhol Wannabe

Hey Dolls

Get ready for a goodie!  This is a bright one, a fantastically bright neon pink!  Yummo.  Finger Paints Warhol Wannabe has an amazing formula, two coats was all it needed.

Isn't she fantastic?  I am so impressed with Finger Paints right now!

Finger Paints Rockin Renaissance

Hiya Dolls

I had no idea when I bought Finger Paints Rockin Renaissance from Sally's the other day that it was a textured polish.  It looked so amazing in the bottle but I was shocked when I was putting it on.  Even though I'm not a huge fan of textured polishes, Rockin Renaissance is flippin amazing.

There is so much gorgeousness going on here!  I mean....look at it!

Of course I had to put a top coat on (two actually) and if I thought I loved it before, now I've died and gone to heaven!  I bought it for that gold flakie goodness that I saw in the bottle, but I had no idea that it would be this stunning.  I think it's the textured chunky finish that makes it have so much depth.

Would you just look at it?!

Ah-mazing.  I cannot get enough of Rockin Renaissance.

Valentine's Day Mani

Hiya Dolls

We are celebrating Valentines Day for Twinsie Tuesday this week.  I love Valentines Day!  I love spending it with my hubs, but my favorite part is making it special for my daughters.  I always make them a special breakfast and have a few gifts and treats ready for them throughout the day.

On my index finger I am wearing Finger Paints Pink Imagination with some gold studs from Claire's.  My middle finger is Joe Fresh Champagne.  My ring and pinky fingers are Nicole by OPI Color Me Country.  I added NYC Top Of The Gold Topcoat to my ring finger and a cute little heart using Joe Champagne and a dotting tool.

Be sure to check out the other Twinsies:

Pick Of The Glitter Gradient

 Hiya Dolls!

I had such a great time at the Pink concert the other night, she rocked it big time!  Her tour was sponsored by Cover Girl, so they were giving away free mascaras AND they had a manicure booth!  I had already done my nails for the night, but my friend got hers painted.  They had 3 shades of pink, so cute :)

I did this mani a few weeks ago.  I used Finger Paints Gossamer White and I did a glitter gradient using Nicole by OPI Pick Of The Glitter which was a bday present from my sis-in-law.

Pink Week Breast Cancer Awareness, Essie Better Together with Gold Flakes

Hey Dolls

Today is the last day of Pink Mani Week for Breast Cancer Awareness.  I really learned a lot this week about breast cancer, and I hope you did too.

For my last mani, I started with Finger Paints Pink Imagination.  I added a coat of Sephora By OPI, It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat, and then a layer of Essie Better Together overtop.  I love the end result, so soft and pretty.

And the last fact on Breast Cancer.  I really hope these have been helpful for you ladies.

Beauty UK Eletric Blue with Flakies

Hey Dolls

I have another Beauty UK polish for you today.  Eletric Blue (not sure if that is a typo but that's how it's spelled on the label) is a gorgeous blue with incredible shimmer.  I am super impressed with the formula of this brand.  Two coats gives perfect opacity.

I had to layer some flakies over this gorgeous blue.  I used a generous coat of Essie Shine Of The Times which has flakies that shift from red to green.  Yum yum.

If you are like me you can never have too many flakies.  So on top of that I added a coat of Finger Paints Motley which has flakies that shift from purple to green.

Claire's Pinata Jelly Sandwich

I almost squealed when I saw Pinata at Claires the other day!  I don't have any shard-type polish yet, so of course I picked this up!

Pinata has multi-color chard bits in a clear base, so fabulous!  Application was a little tricky, sometimes the shards were sparse and sometimes they clumped together.  The end result was way worth it though.  I used Finger Paints Gossamer White with Pinata for my jelly sandwhich.

Three thin coats of Gossamer White.

Next I added one thin coat of Gossamer White over Pinata.

And on Pinata on all four fingers as a jelly sandwich.

Twinsie Tuesday, Thanksgiving Mani

We are celebrating American Thanksgiving this week at Twinsie Tuesday.  Us Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October.  I love Turkey Day!

I knew I couldn't do a turkey on my nail, so I did a simple top hat that I saw a turkey wearing on a cartoon pic!  I was considering saying that my 9 year daughter did the hat for me, but that would be an insult to her cuz she is actually a great little artist!

I used Finger Paints, Tangerine Tint.  I am all over this deep tangerine color right now!  It would be great in Summer, but still suits the Fall as it reminds me of the changing leaves.  It is a crelly (creme/jelly) that with 2 coats still showed some vnl.  I don't mind at all.

Looking forward to seeing what the other Twinsie's have done this week!

Twinsie Tuesday, Canadian Edition

Hello and welcome to Twinsie Tuesday, the Canadian Edition!

The majority of our lovely Twinsie girls live in America (except for Elizabeth I believe, who is living in Hong Kong!) but there are 2 twinsies, myself and Ash from Art Evolve, who live in Canada.  So this week, we are being honored!  We split the group in two, and Ash and I got to give our group a Canadian Theme to use as their mani inspiration.

For my group I chose the WOODLANDS.  I live in British Columbia, Canada, and we have beautiful forests and lakes all around us, as well as the Rocky Mountains.  We are also known for our wildlife, which include Canadian Geese, beavers, moose, eagles, and salmon, to name the most popular.  So I thought a Woodland theme would give my Twinsie's lots of great inspiration and ideas!

I have seen Sammy from The Nailasaurus do a lovely feather mani, and thought it would be fitting for this weeks theme.  We have loads and loads of Canadian Geese around us, so my mani is inspired by them.  I should have used a white or black polish as my background color, as that is what color the Canadian Goose is, but.....pink is prettier!

The pink polish is Finger Paints Pink Imagination.  A lovely soft bubblegum pink with a pretty white shimmer.  I bought the pack of feathers a long time ago from Walmart in the craft aisle.  I used Sammys great tutorial, and it worked like a charm.

I'm so excited to see what my group came up with using the Woodland theme.  Please check out all the Twinsie's to see Ash's theme!

Barry M, Berry

Thanks again to the lovely Nory for sending me my first Barry M polish!  Eeeeee, so excited.  I wore this for a week straight, I couldn't bare to take it off.  I feel like this purple toned pink was the perfect match for my skin tone.

It's a cream that glides on so smooth like butter!  2 easy coats, and it was shiny enough without a top coat.

And a few days into this mani I added Finger Paints Motley on top.  This flakey is absolute heaven to look at!
