L'oreal Abstract Nail Art

 Hey Loves!

It's been a while since I've had the time or energy to do some nail art.  Life throws you some curve balls sometimes.

I love L'oreal polishes even though I don't own many of them.  I peeked through my collection and pulled out Rue Cremieux, Jardin Des Roses and Jennifer's Nude and made an abstract mani.

I added some black spots using some black paint and a paint brush and just splattered them on.  I also added some gold foil as per usual!

Have a great day Loves!

L'oreal Paris Color Riche, Rue Cremieux Swatch

Hey Dolls!

I picked up Rue Cremieux the other day at my local Superstore while the L'oreal Colour Riche polishes were on sale.  I haven't purchased any of the Colour Riche polishes yet, so I figured it was time!

Rue Cremieux is a romantic, dusty rose cream.  I will never tire of shades like this beauty.  The formula was fantastic, two smooth buttery coats gave me perfect opacity.

Have a great day lovelies!

Twinsie Tuesday Chevrons

Hey Dolls

It's Chevron week for the Twinsie's.  I love the look of chevrons, I just wish they weren't so hard to do!  I did a 'deep chevron' using tape for my mani this week.  It was also my BIRTHDAY mani and I loved it soooo much.

The polishes I used are China Glaze For Audrey, Jessica Summer Lovin, Joe Fresh Starry and L'oreal Greycian Goddess.  I used washi tape for my lines.  I love using washi tape because it gives crisp lines without too much 'stickiness' to ruin your polish underneath.

Check out the other Twinsie's to see their Chevron's:

Cloud Mani

Hello Lovelies,

I tried a cloud mani!  I'm not sure who came up with this cute design, but I absolutely love it!  My girls will definately be sporting some cloud mani's soon!

The burgundy base is Avon Midnight Plum, the first cloud is Loreal Party Hop and the pink part of the cloud is Avon Cotton Candy.

Next time I'll use more opaque colors.  I had to do the coats quite thick to get coverage, so the whole mani ended up being too thick for my liking.

This is the first set of clouds using Party Hop

And here is Midnight Plum on it's own.  This polish was super streaky and left bald spots after 3 coats.  Annoying!
