Pink and Bronze Polka Dots

Hiya Dolls

I've got a sweet little polka dot mani to share with you today.

This lovely soft pink is China Glaze Something Sweet and the polka dots are Joe Fresh Bronze.

I love this color combo and there is just something so sweet about polka dots!

Pink Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

I've got a quick gradient mani to show you today.  I used the sponging gradient method with China Glaze Something Sweet and Surreal Appeal.  I had to do four coats to get the coverage I wanted.  Next time I will do a base coat of white or nude, that should help.  A layer of my fave topcoat NYC Grand Central Station, smoothed everything out nicely.

Twinsie Tuesday International Choice

Hi Dolls

This week's Twinsie Tuesday theme is a fun one for me.  It's International Choice, and because I live in Canada (most of the Twinsie's live in the States) I get to choose the theme for my group.  We have two other international Twinsie's, Elizabeth and Roisin, and they have their own groups as well.

For my theme, I chose BC's National Tree which is the gorgeous Dogwood Tree.  Too bad my nail art doesn't do it proud, but I tried!

My base color is Barry M Pink Flamingo.  For the flower I used China Glaze Something Sweet and Clinique Hula Skirt.

Be sure to check out the other Twinsie's, and see which ones are doing my theme!

China Glaze Pink Ombre

Hey Dolls

With the big pink polish kick I've been on lately, I have gotten so much use of this China Glaze Pink Ombre Collection!  The four pinks that came together are Make An Entrance, which is the darkest pink, Dance Baby, Something Sweet and Angel's Breath which is the lightest.  So far, I have gotten the most use out of Angel's Breath, it is just the softest, prettiest pink I own.

Wishing I would have picked up the other sets of colors now!

China Glaze Something Sweet and Joe Silver Glitter

Hello Dolls!

I picked up the China Glaze Ombre set in Sweet Sensations.  There are four really lovely pinks in the set, one of which I'm showing you today.  It's called Something Sweet, a pretty, pastel pink cream.  This was two easy coats and a top coat.

I added a little nail art using Joe Silver Glitter on my ring finger.  I love how simple and sweet it looks, while adding a bit of glam.

Twinsie Tuesday Fictional Animal Print

Hello hello, welcome to Twinsie Tuesday.

I am going to start by saying that this weeks theme was a total bust for me!  I do NOT like doing nail art, and this week I was forced to do some.  The theme is Fictional Animal Print, so the print of a dragon, mermaid, unicorn etc.

I chose mermaid and tried to do a scale mani using a cute one I have seen around by Chalkboard Nails.  Well, mine does not look like hers!  This took so flippin long to do that I was not going to start all over with something new, so ya get what ya get this week!

Just glance at it quickly and keep reading please!

Why were dots so hard for me to do?  I was too impatient while making new dots to let the other dots dry, and my polish was getting all goopy.

I do like the colors I chose though!  I used China Glaze For Audrey, Sinful Colors Cinderella, Zoya Shelby and China Glaze Something Sweet.
