Sinful Colors Kylie Trend Matters

Hey Dolls!

I was so excited when I saw a huge display of Sinful Colors Kylie polishes at Superstore (Canada)  the other day.  I didn't even know there was a collab!  I only picked up two polishes so far, there were so many gorgeous ones, but I had to restrain myself.

I think there are a few different Kylie Collections, the two I picked up are from the Demi-Matte collection.

Kashmere is a lovely pale lavender grey with very fine gold shimmer.  The formula is fantastic, great coverage and easy to work with.  I used two coats for perfect opacity.  Unfortunately, that shimmer does not show up on the nail.  Even without that shimmer, this color is fabulous.

Here is Kashmere with top coat.

Karma is a beautiful orchid purple with gold shimmer.  The shimmer does show up in this one thankfully!  Another god formula, almost a one coater.

Have  you guys picked any of these up?

Have a great day loves!

Joe Fresh and Sinful Colors

Hey Dolls!

How are you all doing?  We are still rockin out our Spring Break here in BC.  Loralai and I are making a trip across to the States tomorrow and I can't wait to pick out some polishes!

I have a couple random swatches to show you today.  First up is Sinful Colors Daredevil.  I don't normally gravitate to pinks with shimmer, but I don't know why because once they are on my nails I absolutely LOVE them!

The formula is a little sheer, but I still got decent coverage with two coats.  Loving that pretty shimmer.

Here is Joe Fresh Rosewood.  I bought this back in the Winter and am still loving it for Spring.  Two smooth coats gave me perfect opacity.

Soft Skittles

Hey Dolls

Just a quick post today of a soft skittle mani that I'm wearing.  I still love a good skittle mani!  I think this is a good transition mani from Winter to Spring!

The pretty white is China Glaze New Birth.  The dusty pink is Sinful Colors Starfish, and the sparkly cornflower blue is Sinful Colors Violets are Blue.

China Glaze Petal To The Metal

Hey Dolls

I picked up China Glaze Petal To The Metal the other day because it was calling my name!  I didn't realize until I put her on my shelf with my other China Glaze polishes that it's similar to Flip Flop Fantasy.  Definitely more pink than FFF, but apparently I need ALL China Glaze neons!  Haha

That sparkly silver goodness is Sinful Colors Charmed.  Such a gorgeous silver micro glitter with rainbow glitter mixed in.  I love Charmed because it dries smooth without a topcoat.  Of course I use a top coat anyway to prolong the wear and make it super shiny, but I really dislike chunky, gritty glitters.  I used three coats of both polishes for my swatches.

Sinful Colors Starfish

Hey Dolls

I picked up Starfish by Sinful Colors the other week and this is the prettiest dusty pink ever!  Formula was fantastic, two easy coats and perfectly opaque.  I wore Starfish for at least 5 days and only had a little tip wear.

I hope Starfish is one of their core colors because I'm sure I will use this entire bottle.  I better get a back up just in case.

Summer Stripes

Hey Dolls

Hope your Summer is going fabulously!  I miss blogging and doing my nails so much, but I am outside soaking up with sun with my little Luvies while I can!

The three colors I used for this little tape mani are Sinful Colors Thimleberry, Essie Check-up and Sally Hansen Pacific Blue (the old formula!).  I used washi tape to get nice crisp lines and of course a top coat to smooth it all out.

My Go-To Polish, Twinsie Tuesday

Hello Dolls!

We are showing off our Go-To polishes this week for TT.  My go-to polishes are always nudes, I love anything ranging from white to taupe to grey.

This lovely soft off white is Sinful Colors Easy Going.  This is the type of color I grab for constantly!  I love how this polish leans peachy on me, I think this is perfect for Spring!

Nude and White Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

Brrrrr!  It's getting cold in BC.  I'm going to be bustin out my Christmas decorations pretty soon.  Eeeeee!

I finally tried a nude and white gradient a few weeks back.  I really love how it turned out!  I used OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.  I did three coats using a sponge.

Do you guys like the look of the nude and white gradients?

Tape Mani

Hey Dolls!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  I'm always a bit sad on Sunday night to see the weekend go, but I do love a fresh start on Mondays.  Is that crazy?  Anyhoo, here is my latest mani.  I can't seem to get enough of tape mani's lately!

The colors I used here are Essie Rock The Boat which is a beautiful shimmery blue.  Sinful Colors Skylark which is the pretty pastel peach.  Chanel Kaleidoscope on my ring finger, and Shimmer Carmen on my pinky.

Twinsie Tuesday You Tube Inspiration

Hiya Dolls

For TT this week, we were supposed to get our inspiration from You Tube.  I have wanted to try the Vintage Floral look for a long time, so I knew right away what tutorial I wanted to use.

The six polishes I used for this look are Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Zoya Dita, Barry M Pink Flamingo, China Glaze For Audrey, Orly Prelude To A Kiss and Jealous, Much?

This took me so long to do!  I think the end result is rediculously sweet!  I just wish I would have done smaller roses and more of them.

Black Glitter Skittles

Hiya

I have been loving the swatches of Illamasqua Speckled everywhere lately!  I don't have access to this brand nearby, so I imitated it with the polishes that I had on hand.

The black glitter is L.A. Girl Glitter Addict Uninhibited.  Uninhibited has tiny black glitter and medium sized black hex glitter.  It is super jam packed with the glitters, so i had to dab it on rather than swipe.

Each nail has a base color, one coat of glitter and then they all have a coat of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu over top.  On my pointer is Revlon Dreamer. Middle finger is Sinful Colors Sweet Tooth. Ring finger is OPI My Very First Knockwurst, and my pinky is Color Club Blue-ming.

I was so excited when I saw this next polish by Love & Beauty (Forever 21) but once it was on, I didn't really love it.  Rose/Red (such a dull name) felt very chunky on my nails.  My base coat is Zoya Dita, and while this IS a gorgeous pink, I think I should have used a different color.  Rose/Red has a lot of different glitters going on!  It has lots of multi-sized irridescent shards, small silver glitter, red square glitters and large red hearts.

Twinsie Tuesday Fictional Animal Print

Hello hello, welcome to Twinsie Tuesday.

I am going to start by saying that this weeks theme was a total bust for me!  I do NOT like doing nail art, and this week I was forced to do some.  The theme is Fictional Animal Print, so the print of a dragon, mermaid, unicorn etc.

I chose mermaid and tried to do a scale mani using a cute one I have seen around by Chalkboard Nails.  Well, mine does not look like hers!  This took so flippin long to do that I was not going to start all over with something new, so ya get what ya get this week!

Just glance at it quickly and keep reading please!

Why were dots so hard for me to do?  I was too impatient while making new dots to let the other dots dry, and my polish was getting all goopy.

I do like the colors I chose though!  I used China Glaze For Audrey, Sinful Colors Cinderella, Zoya Shelby and China Glaze Something Sweet.

Twinsie Tuesday, Halloween Mani

Welcome to Twinsie Tuesday!

We are showing off some Halloween mani's today!  Halloween is my least favorite holiday... but I do love the candy part!  Mmmm mmmm.

On my index finger I used Barielle Soho at Night, middle finger is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, ring finger is Wet & Wild Black Creme and pinky is Sinful Colors Hazard.  The glitter on my middle and pinky fingers is OPI Bring on the Bling, and the glitter over black is Essence Space Queen.

Excited to see my fellow Twinsie's Halloween inspired mani's!

Twinsie Tuesday 3 Layer Experiment

I was pleasantly surprised with my 3 layer polish experiment for this week's Twinsie Tuesday theme.

The idea was to pick 3 polishes to layer over each other.  We were supposed to choose 3 random polishes, but I went with what I already had on my nails as the base color, which was Essie Lilacism.

Then I layered Aloha Surf by Island Girl Hawaii.  I love this fun glitter!  I knew I wanted to use a cream and a glitter and some type of sheer effect to top it all off.

So, for my third layer I chose Sinful Colors Let Me Go.  It is a verrrry sheer duochrome.  Love the flashes of green, and in certain lights there is a flash of gold.  I actually really ended up loving my final product!

Twinsie Tuesday, Copycat

This is a special edition of Twinsie Tuesday!  We are doing something a little different today.  We were randomly given a Twinsie's name to do a copycat mani of.

My partner is Jenna from  I'm Still Thinking...   I had a peek thru her blog and there were soooo many cute nail art mani's, but beings as I'm not very good at nail art, I went with one that I've done before.  A gradient!

So excited to browse thru all the other Twinsie's this morning.  Can't wait to see who was paired with who!  Check check check it out....

Twinsie Tuesday Floral

Hello friends, welcome to Twinsie Tuesday!  We are showing off a Floral mani this week.  I tried some free hand flowers.

My basecoat is It's All About the Glam by NOPI The Kardashian Collection, which I got for my birthday, and I am in love with, btw.

I used Lilacism by Essie (another bday pressie) for the light purple roses, and Night Before by Rimmel for the dark purple accents.  Mint Apply by Sinful Colors is the leaves.

Summer Lovin, Jessica

Hello my lovely's.

Summer Lovin is a peachy/nude/pastely cream polish that I am in love with.  Thank you Nory-girl for sending it to me, it's my first Jessica, and I love her :)

I added a coat of Sinful Colors Out Of This World, for a little sparkle!  I love this polish, thank you Amanda!

And then......wanted to do a jelly sanwich, so I used W&W Beautiful, But Dangerous, and a coat of Summer Lovin on top.

What's Your Name?

Hello friends!

I've got a beautiful polish to show you today, sent to me by my lovely friend Amanda.  It is Sinful Colors What's Your Name?  And she is a beauty, no?

Isn't that greeny blue shimmer amazing?!  Makes me think of the universe.  In a couple of the bottle shots you can see a shift to pink/purple, but that didn't show up on the nail.

I used 3 thin coats to ensure the coverage I like.  This polish was the perfect consistency for me, so easy to work with.

Twinsie Tuesday Duochrome

Hello hello, welcome to Twisie Tuesday, Duochrome/metallic edition.

I chose Sinful Colors Let Me Go as my duochrome polish.  I already had Rimmel Night Before on as a mani, so I layered Let Me Go over top (it is too sheer to wear on its own)  Let Me Go is acutally quite light, and looks mostly purple in the bottle, but on the nail it goes verrrry green.  Especially when layered over a dark color.  It was shifting blue a lot too, because of the deep purple in Night Before.
