Color Club Holographic Gradient

Hey Dolls!

It has been such a long time since I've done a Gradient Mani!  I'm loving how this Color Club Holographic Gradient turned out.  It kind of looks like a thermal effect polish to me.

I used Unbreakable and What's Your Sign? and a makeup sponge for this gradient.

Color Club Holographic Unbreakable and That's Rich

 Hey Dolls!

I picked up some Holographic Color Club polishes at Winners the other day.  I'm a sucker for any holo polish, especially Color Club!

Unbreakable is a gorgeous coppery pink shade with fabulous rainbow holo!  To make this polish even more fabulous; it is a one coater!

That's Rich is a stunning berry fuchsia.  I found the holo wasn't quite as strong with this one but I also swatched on a cloudy day so the pics are under my lamp light which never does them justice.

What is your fave Color Club holo polish?

Have a great day loves!

What do you guys think of this Drip Marble?  I'm loving the multicolored flakies in Lilypad Lacquer's Star Dust!

Color Club Holographic, What's Your Sign?

Hello Lovelies!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw an end display of Color Club polishes at Walmart the other day.  I had heard that Walmart in the USA had Color Club polishes but we didn't have in any Canada until this month.  I picked up 3 polishes, 2 holo's and one color changer.  I'm sure I will end up with all of them at some point!

What's Your Sign? is a beautiful silver holographic with gorgeous pink shimmer.  I am so in love with this beauty!  The formula was easy to work with, two perfect coats was all I needed.

Color Club Holographic What's Your Sign?

The linear holo rainbow shows up so much better in the sunshine than it does under my lamps (which is what I used for these photos).

Do you have any of the beauties in this Holographic collection?

Have a great day lovelies!

Color Club Element of Surprise and Lunar Logic Swatches

Hiya Lovelies!

I picked up a couple of cute Color Club polishes from Winners.  I'm still waiting and hoping to find some of Color Club's Holo polishes one day.  I probably should just order them, I've been waiting for so long now!

Element of Surprise is a soft, romantic blue with the sweetest pink shimmer.  I love the ethereal feel to this polish!  The formula was fantastic, I used two coats for my swatch.  I loaded the brush up with lots of polish and it glided on so smoothly.

Lunar Logic is a pale mauve with the coolest tiny grey flecks.  I have absolutely nothing like this polish in my collection, I love finding polishes that are unique!  Another easy polish to use with a great formula, two coats.

Holo Gradient Mani, Essie and Color Club

Hiya Dolls!

I have a bright and beautiful holo gradient to show you today.

I used my favorite purple polish - Essie Fashionista as the base color and sponged on Color Club Miss Bliss on the tips.  I used my favorite top coat NYC Grand Central Station on top to smooth it all out.

Have a great day lovelies!

Color Club Bell Bottom Babe

Hey Dolls!

OK, where the heck have I been hiding that Color Club Bell Bottom Babe is new to me?  This might be my new favorite polish....ever.  I haven't even seen swatches of this beauty.  Best of all, I found this for $1.50 at Winners.

Bell Bottom Babe is a lovely cornflower blue with the most amazing pink shimmer.  The shimmer makes the polish look purple from afar, but when you look close up, you see that lovely soft blue and bright pink shimmer that just makes this polish look electric.  I had the most compliments ever when I wore this mani!

My photo's make this polish look a lot more purple than it actually is.  In real life (Is this real life?) it is a much softer cornflower blue.

I added a little jeweled sticker (from Japan, sent by a friend).  Eeeeeee!  I just can't get enough of this polish.

I gotta say between Bell Bottom Babe, East Austin, Miss Bliss and Wicker Park, Color Club is KILLIN it!

Twinsie Tuesday Nail Applique's

Hey Dolls

Today for Twinsie Tuesday we are showing off some nail applique's.  I didn't go with the traditional nail strips, but instead some sticky jewel applique's.  These pretty jewels were sent to me all the way form Japan from my sweet exchange student.

My pink base is Color Club Wicker Park.

Twinsie Tuesday Mani to Match your Handbag

Hiya Dolls

The theme for TT this week is a mani to match your handbag.  I knew straight away which bag I was going to get my inspiration from!  It is a Dexter bag and it screams Spring!  It has multicolored abstract dots all over it.  I was able to find polish colors that were very similar, and I love how it turned out.

I used OPI Get Me To The Taj On Time as my base coat and then with my dotting tool I just layered all the colors on top of each other til I was happy with the look.  The polishes I used were OPI Don't Mess With OPI, Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh?, Italian Love Affair and Conquistadorable Color, Essie Parka Perfect, China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, Revlon Fashionista and Color Club Wicker Park.

Be sure to check out the other Twinsie's:

OPI Magenta Chevrons

Hey Dolls

I've got another fun chevron to show you today.  I used OPI Congeniality Is My Middle Name and then taped off a chevron design and used Color Club Apollo Star.  I love how this turned out!  I don't think I'll ever tire of chevrons, the possibilites are endless.

Grunge Nails, Twinsie Tuesday

Hey Dolls

This weeks TT theme is Grunge Nails.  I was excited to give it a try!

I started off with OPI Can't Find My Czechbook and then swiped on a few Color Clubs, Blue-ming, Express Yourself, Raspberry Rush and then some black and white polishes.  I finished off the look with Essie Matte About You.

I think Chalkboard Nails came up with this design.

Purple and Gold Gradient

Hiya Dolls

I recently saw a gold gradient that I was very drawn to on @build_a_nail on Instagram.  I knew I had to do something similar!

I used Color Club Express Yourself from the Pride Collection. (I think that it is also called Disco Dress, outside of this collection?)  This Purple cream is A-mazing.  It is seriously deep and bright at the same time.  Like a dark neon really.

I sponged Joe Fresh Champagne on the tips and then dragged the brush a bit further up on the nail.  I love how this looks!  A bit messy like an abstract painting.

Nude and Flourescent Gradient

Hi Dolls

Happy Monday, hope everyone had a great weekend.  We had girly sleepovers, swim dates, and lots of nail painting this weekend.  Couldn't ask for much better than that!

The mani I'm sharing with you today, just might be my all-time most favorite one!  Eva!  I have wanted to try this look ever since I saw @lafemmelulu on Instagram do one similar.

The polishes I used are Essie Better Together which is a lovely squishy pink jelly and Color Club East Austin.  I dabbed on a little Nicole by OPI Carrie'd Away on the tips.  So easy and such a fun look!

I dabbed on some chunkier glitter afterwards, but didn't end up liking the colors together.  Next time I'm going to use a purple polish and try a nice chunky glitter with it.

Twinsie Tuesday Inspired By A Family Member

Hiya Dolls

Today's Twinsie Tuesday is inspired by a family member.  I chose two of my family members, my two lovely daughters!

The pink polish is Color Club Wicker Park which I showed you all the other day.  The pink is inspired by both of my girlies, and the gold accents are to represent how fun and priceless they are!  I used some gold foil on my middle finger, and this gorgeous gold glitter Bare It All by Pure Ice on my pinkie.

Please be sure to check out the other Twinsie's mani's this week!

Color Club Girl About Town

Hiya Dolls

I have three more polishes to show you from the Girl About Town Collection by Color Club.  I have been wanting The Uptown for a while now, I am such a sucker for a good flakie polish.

The Uptown has gorgeous flakies that shift green to orange to pink in a purple jelly base.  This polish is even more fabulous in person!

Wicker Park is a bright pastel lavendar that leans pink.  Application was so great, this color is highly pigmented and there were no streaks at all.

I am still on the fence about Pearl District.  I'm not a fan of these kind of colors and I don't think it's very flattering on my skin tone.  Color Club describes this color as the stone Tigers Eye.  Application was easy, I used two coats for this swatch.

Color Club East Austin

Hiya Dolls

Ok I am utterly in love with East Austin from the Color Club Girl About Town Collection.  This is a gorgeous fluorescent CORAL!  This polish is so fabulously bright but not in an obnoxious way.

Formula was great but I did need 3 coats (it is a 'coral' afterall!).

I have 3 other polishes from the Girl About Town Collection that I will show you in another post.  Has anyone picked up any shades from this fab collection?

Nude Skittles

Hey Dolls!

It's snowing again today!  I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner, it's come so quickly this year.

I think this skittle mani has just enough bling, while still being simple and neutral.

I am wearing OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts on my pointer and pinkie.  On my middle finger I have on OPI My Very First Knockwurst and the glitter on my ring finger is Color Club Apollo Star.  Just in case you are curious, I have OPI My Very First Knockwurst on my thumb.

Have a great day loves!

Color Club Raspberry Rush

Hey Dolls

This is another un-labeled Color Club that came in my pack from Winners.  I had lots of fun trying to figure out what this one is!  I asked around on Instagram and the 3 top polishes were Warhol, Poptastic and All That Razz.  After looking at the 3 polishes, I thought the closest one was All That Razz.  But my polish is scented and that was throwing me off.  So I finally decided on Raspberry Rush which is a scented polish.  I wonder if I'm actually right? Ha

Anyway, this gorgeous hot pink brightened up my mood for a few days during this crazy -10 weather we are having in BC.

Twinsie Tuesday East Vs West Coast

Hey Dolls!

This is going to be a fun Twinsie Tuesday!  We have split up into two teams, East Vs West Coast.  I live on the West Coast of Canada, so I'm representing WEST.  West is showing off a shimmer polish and East is showing a glitter.

My base coat is OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts, and I did a tape mani with Color Club Apollo Star which is a lovely SHIMMERY champagne. The silver studs are from Claires.

Be sure to check out the other Twinsie's to see who is representing East or West Coast!

Color Club Apollo Star

Hey Dolls!

I picked up a gorgeous set of Color Club polishes at Winners, but none of them have labels, so I don't know the names.  I looked on their site and I think this pretty champagne silver is called Apollo Star.  Does anyone know this polish?

I don't think it's meant to be a textured polish, but it dried that way.  I actually can't get over how much I love this polish.  Usually nudes make me have lobster hands, but not this bad boy!

I know I will wear this a lot this Winter!
