Romantic Skittle Manicure

Hey Dolls!

I have a soft and romantic skittle mani to share with you today!  I love finding new color combo's for skittle mani's,  I went with a lavender and grey palette with a bit of sparkle.

On my pointer finger I am wearing OPI I'm Gown for Anything! from the Brights: Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection (see swatches of the full collection here).  My middle finger is OPI Infinite Shine Reach for the Sky from the Spring 2016 Collection (swatches here).  My ring finger is Revlon Holographic Pearls and my pinkie finger is OPI I Am What I Amethyst from the Soft Shades Spring 2016 Collection (swatches here).

As usual, I topped everything with my fave top coat NYC Grand Central Station!

Have a wonderful day lovelies!

Joe Fresh Amethyst

Hey Dolls!

We are on Summer Holidays now and I couldn't be more excited to spend the Summer with my girlies.  Get ready for lots of  'nails at the beach' pics!

I found Joe Fresh Amethyst on sale for .94 cents, so of course, I had to pick it up.  It is a soft lavender shade with the most gorgeous pink flash.  The flash shows up best in natural sunlight, (my light box doesn't show it very well).  The formula was so perfect and buttery, I used two coats.

Have a great day lovelies!

Essie Chevron Nails

Hey Dolls!

Why has it been so long since I've done a chevron mani?  I forgot how much I love them!  I used Essie Peach Side Babe and Essie Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Low.  One of the main reasons why I don't do chevron nails very often is because of the dry-time needed between base coat and the tape.  So this time, I painted my nails the night before and then just did the chevrons the next morning.  Worked like a charm.

Have a great day my lovely's.

Essie's 1000th Shade: Aim to Misbehave

PRESS SAMPLES

Hiya Dolls!

Essie just debuted their 1000th shade and it is a sparkly YELLOW!  That really surprised me because Essie doesn't have very many yellows in their core collection.  Aim to Misbehave is a jewel toned yellow with gorgeous shimmer.

I don't have anything like this in my collection.  Actually, I just counted my yellows and I only own 8.  My yellow's are all creams, so this one definitely stands out.

The formula is super easy to work with, two smooth coats gave pretty good opacity.  You can always do a third if you prefer to hide your nail line.

What do you guys think of this shade?

Have a great day loves!

Zoya Pixie Dust Gradient

Hey Dolls!

I have a quick gradient to share with you today.  I was so excited to finally own some of the Zoya Pixie Dusts (see my full swatches here).  I love seeing gradient mani's with Pixie Dusts, so I paired Zoya Liv from the Sunsets Summer 2016 Collection with Levi from the new Seashells Pixie Dust Collection for 2016.

I used a Q-Tip to dab on Levi.  I topped it with two thick coats of my go-to top coat: NYC Shine in a Minute Grand Central Station.

Have a great day my loves!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Royal Splendor Collection 2016

PRESS SAMPLES
Hiya Dolls!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel is celebrating their 2 year anniversary with a 6 new shades that make up the Royal Splendor Collection.  The Miracle Gel polishes are a 2 step system that does not need to be cured with a UV light and that boasts up to 14 days of wear!  The top coat is newly formulated to have 2 times the volume (thicker top coat).

I have 5 of the 6 new polishes to share with you today.

Regal Rose is described as a sparkling pale peony (the description makes me love this polish even more) and it is my fave of the bunch.  There is the most gorgeous gold shimmer running throughout this polish which is unique to my collection.  It's a bit on the sheer side, so I used 3 thin coats.

Mauve-olous is a medium pink with a hint of beige that gives it a 'dusty' feel.  The formula was perfection, 2 easy-peasy coats.   I am all about shades like this one!

Off With Her Red! is a vibrant red crelly with a hint of pink.  The formula was excellent, two easy coats.

Can't Beet Royalty is a rich maroon crelly with another great formula.  Two coats was enough, even though I see a hint of my nail line.

Prince Char-mint is a 'Versailles-worthy pale verdant hue' and yes I had to look up the word verdant!  I would say it's more of a medium mint shade, but their description is definitely cuter!  Formula was easy, I used two on-the-thick-side coats.

The shade that I am missing is called Plush Blush and it is an iridescent powder pink.

The Royal Splendor shades will be available at all drug and mass retailers across Canada as of July 2016.  They retail for $12.95 each.

Have a great day my loves!

OPI Retro Summer 2016 Collection Review

PRESS SAMPLE

Hiya Dolls!

I have the new OPI Retro Summer 2016 Collection to show you today!  This collection has six new limited edition shades that are perfect for Summer.

First up is SPF XXX and it is my fave of the collection (I've been rocking it for 5 days now!).  The formula is perfect, two easy-peasy coats.  It levels nicely and isn't streaky which is great for a coral!

Sailing & Nailing is a stunning, breezy blue.  I feel like a lot of people are going to be in love with this shade.  Formula was a little runny, but I still got away with two coats so I'm happy!

What's the Double Scoop? is the sweetest light pink.  The formula was runny again and I needed three coats.

Flip Flops & Crop Tops is a gorgeous bubble gum pink.  I used two easy coats for my swatches, no complaints here!

I'm Getting a Tan-gerine is a muted citrus orange.  I needed three coats as it was a little runny.  It evened out well.

Towel Me About It is a pale lemon yellow.  I don't wear yellow very often, but I can see myself wearing this sweet lemonade shade.  I needed three coats to even out the streaks on this one.

The OPI Retro Summer 2016 Collection is available June 1st in select stores and salons.  They retail for $12.50 cnd ($10.00 usd)  Check out OPI.com for more info.

Have a great day loves.

Sinful Colors Kylie Trend Matters

Hey Dolls!

I was so excited when I saw a huge display of Sinful Colors Kylie polishes at Superstore (Canada)  the other day.  I didn't even know there was a collab!  I only picked up two polishes so far, there were so many gorgeous ones, but I had to restrain myself.

I think there are a few different Kylie Collections, the two I picked up are from the Demi-Matte collection.

Kashmere is a lovely pale lavender grey with very fine gold shimmer.  The formula is fantastic, great coverage and easy to work with.  I used two coats for perfect opacity.  Unfortunately, that shimmer does not show up on the nail.  Even without that shimmer, this color is fabulous.

Here is Kashmere with top coat.

Karma is a beautiful orchid purple with gold shimmer.  The shimmer does show up in this one thankfully!  Another god formula, almost a one coater.

Karma with top coat.

Have  you guys picked any of these up?

Have a great day loves!
