Zoya Enchanted Holiday 2016 Swatches and Review

PR SAMPLES

Hey Dolls!

I have the new Zoya Enchanted Holiday 2016 Collection to show you today!  Four Pixie Dusts and two shimmers make up this six piece holiday collection.   All six polishes have a perfect formula.

Alice is periwinkle shade with pink and blue glitters in the Pixie Dust formula.  It dries to a matte sugary texture.  Two easy coats.

Alice with a thick top coat

Olivera has an indigo base with a green to purple shimmer shift.  How flipping stunning is this polish?!  I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do, just look at that fabulous shimmer shift!  And if that wasn't enough to sell you on it, it is a one coater!  One of the easiest polishes I've ever worked with!

Saint is a periwinkle cream with the most amazing pink shimmer.  This one is my absolute fave of the collection.  Two easy coats!

Lorna is a glittery, deep berry in the Pixie Dust formula.  I love how rich this shade is.  Two easy coats.

The sparkles in Lorna really come alive with a layer of top coat.

Waverly is glittery sapphire blue in the Pixie Dust formula.  Two coats of perfection.

Waverly with top coat.

Elphie is a glittery, emerald green in the Pixie Dust formula.  So perfect for the Holidays!  Two easy coats.

Elphie with top coat.

This is such a beautiful Holiday collection and I love every single polish.  Saint is my number one fave, with Olivera a close second!  How about you, which one is your favorite?

Have a great day loves!

Formula X Divine Stardust

Hey Dolls!

I have three polishes from the Formula X Divine Stardust Collection at Sephora.  These polishes are glittery holo at it's best!  The formula's were fine, I needed two (pretty) thick coats to cover my nail line.  The holo was really hard to capture with my light box, just know that you will be blown away by the holo if you are able to pick one of these up at Sephora!

Hera is a rose-pink glitter holo.  How stunning is this polish!?

I wish I could capture just how amazing the holo really is, these photo's really don't do it justice.

Taken with my Iphone in natural light.

Aphrodite is a purpley grey glitter holo.

Taken with my Iphone in natural light.  You can see the holo goodness here!

Artemis is a silvery-champagne-gold glitter holo.

There were on sale at my local Sephora right now (Canada).  I'm sure they will be gone fast!  Be sure to go in quickly if any of this Collection catches your eye!

Have a great day loves!

Beige Ombre Manicure

Hiya Dolls!

Happy Fri-yay!  I have a beige ombre/skittle mani to share with you today using four shades from the OPI Washington DC Collection for Fall 2016 (see full collection here).

Pale to the Chief is on my pointer finger.  My middle finger is Inside the Isabelletway.  My ring finger is Squeaker of the House (my fave of the whole OPI collection) and my pinkie is Shh...It's Top Secret.

Have a great weekend my lovelies!

China Glaze Dashboard Dreamer Swatch

Hiya Dolls!

I have a China Glaze polish to share with you today.  It is from the Road Trip Collection for Spring 2015 and I picked it up from Winners.  A polish has to be pretty unique to me now in order for me to add it to my collection, so it was the pink shimmer in this one that stole my heart (that shimmer gets me every.dang.time)

Dashboard Dreamer is a whimsical pale blue with the loveliest pink shimmer.  That pretty shimmer only shows up in the sunlight though (true of most polishes with such a fine shimmer).  My indoor lamp didn't really show it off, but I feel like you can kinda tell that it's more than just a cream.  Or am I crazy?

The only time I pick up a China Glaze polish is when I go to Sally's (and I don't get there very often) so I was super happy to see this one at Winners.  I love Winners for random polishes!
Have a great day my loves!

OPI Give Me Moor!

Hiya Dolls!

I have an oldie-but-a-goodie OPI to share with you today!    A couple of years ago I came across some OPI's on sale and I picked up around 10 of them.  They've sat on my shelf for about 2 years now, so I thought it was time to bust them out!

Give Me Moor! is from the OPI Fall 2009 Collection.  It is a vampy, eggplant cream.  The formula was a bit strange, I thought it was a jelly at first, but after 3 coats it was opaque enough to be a cream finish.

Have a great day loves!

Browns and Pink Glitter Skittle Manicure

Hiya Dolls!

Back at it again with the skittle mani's!  I mixed polish brands this time, using OPI, NOPI and Sally Hansen.  I wanted something sweet and romantic so I went with soft browns, grey and a fun pink glitter bomb!

On my pointer finger I am wearing Sally Hansen Color Therapy Line in Steely Serene.  My middle finger is NOPI Wear Something Spar-Kylie.  My ring finger is OPI Squeaker of the House and my pinkie is OPI Pale to the Chief, both of which are from the OPI Washington DC collection for Fall 2016, see full swatches here).  In case you are curious, I am wearing OPI Pale to the Chief on my thumb.

Have a great weekend my lovelies!

Essie Demure Vixen

Hiya Dolls

I have a beautiful Essie polish to share with you today.  It's from the Summer 2010 Collection, so it's kind of an oldie!  I picked it up from Winners, I love when I can find older collection polishes!

Demure Vixen is a beautiful, dusty mauve cream with a fabulous, pink flash.  Of course it was the pink flash that sold me on this polish.  The flash shows up best in bright lighting, which I find pretty typical of Essie's shimmer polishes.  The rest of the time it looks like a cream, but that's ok because I love this mauve shade so much!

Have a great day my lovelies!

Glam Polish Swatch and Review

PRESS SAMPLES

Hiya Dolls!

I am so excited to share with you my first bottles of Glam Polish!  I have loved seeing all the stunning pics of Glam Polish all over Instagram and on peoples blogs, and now I finally have a few bottles of my own!  They are even better than I imagined them!  Flakie, holo goodness with a kick butt formula!  On to the pictures so you can see for yourself!

The formula on all three polishes were awesome and so easy to work with.  The flakies are super smooth and lay flat against the nail.  I added one coat of top coat for added shine.  My pictures were taken using a light box and it didn't capture the rainbow-ness of the holo flakies like the sun does.  Still pretty indoors, but when you wear these outside, they are even more magical!

First up is Katrina Van Tassel which just happens to be my fave!  She is a stunning burnt orange-red jelly with plenty of holo flakies.

Nancy Downs is a gorgeous, grape-purple jelly with holo flakies.  So rich and decadent.

Madame Serena is a beautiful magenta jelly with holo flakies.  This color is so gorgeous, it was a tough choice between this one and Katrina Van Tassel for my favorite.

Are you a sucker for holo flakies like me?  I don't think I could ever get enough of them!

These three polishes are from the Coven Collection which is available now for purchase at the Glam Polish website.  You can follow that link to see the rest of the Coven Collection and purchase.

Polishes are $11.50-12.00 USD

Shipping is available to:
