Twinsie Tuesday, Oldest Polish

Hello hello!

We are showing our oldest polish this week on Twinsie Tuesday.

Pop Apricot by Rimmel London is my oldest polish that I own right now.  I've had this one for about 7 or 8 years I believe.  It is such a fun, fresh color, I would totally pick this up again if I ever saw it.  Lovely little flakies in there, that 8 years ago, I didn't even know what flakies were!  I would have said sparkles probably!

I even used an old picture!  From about a year ago!  My nails have changed quite a bit!

Take a peek at the other Twinsie's oldest polish!

Twinsie Tuesday Floral

Hello friends, welcome to Twinsie Tuesday!  We are showing off a Floral mani this week.  I tried some free hand flowers.

My basecoat is It's All About the Glam by NOPI The Kardashian Collection, which I got for my birthday, and I am in love with, btw.

I used Lilacism by Essie (another bday pressie) for the light purple roses, and Night Before by Rimmel for the dark purple accents.  Mint Apply by Sinful Colors is the leaves.

Have a peek at the other Twinsie Girls to see their floral mani's:

Twinsie Tuesday, Best Polish Deal

We are showing our "Best Polish Deal" this week.  I don't have many good stories about finding great polishes for cheap.  The one that came to mind though, is Night Before by Rimmel.  In Canada, Rimmel's are usually about $5.00, and I snagged this one for $1.95.  I was super happy with the price, and then absolutely AMAZED when I put it on the first time!

The base is a blurple jelly and it is so jam packed with shimmer!  Loooove.

And WELCOME to our lovely Maribeth who is the newest Twinsie Tuesday member!  So happy to have you join the group!
Looking forward to checking out the other Twinsie's "Good Deals"

Night Before Rimmel London

Ok, friends, I am in loooove with Night Before by Rimmel.  I saw it in the store yesturday and it was on sale for $1.97.  So for that price I had to pick it up.  In the store it didn't look that fabulous.  But take her out in to the sunlight and magic happens!

I swatched it as soon as I got home, and it was love at first coat.  (But of course I put on 2 more!)  I've never seen that amount of tiny little shimmer bits in a polish before.  A-mazing.

A beautiful blurple base, and so much reddy-purpley shimmer it's unbelievable!

This next pic is in the shade

And these next 2 are in full sun

Black Sheep

I made this franken yesturday using W&W Black Cream, a bit of Rimmel Vintage, some clear and a few hex glitters.   It ended up a bit more shimmery than I had wanted, but I still really like it.

Twinsie Tuesday

Hello Luvlies!  Welcome to Twinsie Tuesday.  The lovely Amanda from Amandalandish and Nory from Fierce Makeup and Nails came up with the cutest idea to choose a certain theme each week, and the participants do a swatch based on that theme.  We all keep chosen polish a secret from each other, and it's revealed when we check each other's blogs on Tuesday mornings!

For our first week, we were supposed to choose an international polish to swap.  As I'm still new to this, I've got around 100 polishes, and I had a hard time finding a fun international one!  So I have Rimmel London's Vintage.  This polish was a gift a few years ago from my sister in law, and I lurrrve it!  It's a unique dusty rose with plenty'o shimmer!

Can't wait to see what everyone has chosen as their International polish.  Click on the blog links below to see who has played along.  They are some fabulous ladies!
