Holiday Glitter Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

It's getting to that time of year when all the holiday festivities start!  So I'm going to start doing a few holiday mani idea's for you.

For this glitter gradient I used Essie School of Hard Rocks (I think this polish has sat on my shelf for years, can you tell by the bottle?!) and Wet n Wild Give Me a Price Quote.  I used a cosmetic sponge for the glitter gradient.

I know that people that love bar glitter are few and far between, but I am one of those people!  What's not to love?  I especially like the tiny bar glitter that is in Give Me a Price Quote.

Have a great Wednesday lovelies!

Wet n Wild Megalast Swatches

Hey Dolls!

I picked up a couple of Wet n Wild Megalast polishes from Superstore the other day.  I never really pay much attention to Wet n Wild anymore but they had so many cute colors and for $2.99, I couldn't leave them there!

First up is Undercover, a super pretty dusty rose cream.  I am totally shocked at how great the formula and lasting power these polishes have!  I used two easy coats plus top coat for my swatches.

Do you see all that gorgeous shimmer in the bottle?  That is why I picked Disturbia up, but sadly it doesn't really translate on the nail.  It's still a stunning color and amazing formula but I was really hoping for that shimmer to show up on the nail.

Haze of Love is a vampy, burgundy red cream.  I don't usually buy reds, but this one really caught my eye!  And again the formula and wear time is amazing with Haze of Love.

Have a great day lovelies!

Wet n Wild Through The Grapevine

Hiya Dolls

I picked up Wet n Wild Through The Grapevine the other day.  Considering how much I love purple polish, I really don't own that many!

I would describe this colour as grape bubblegum.  It was very pigmented, I used two coats and topcoat.

Wet n Wild LAC - My Mani?

Hey Dolls

I was super intrigued when I saw this matte finish Wet n Wild polish on one of my shopping trips to the States.  I haven't even heard of these yet here in Canada.  I picked up this lovely soft yellow color called LAC My - Mani?  (Hate that name).

Formula was a pain in the butt, really patchy.  I needed three coats to even things out, but the bonus is that it dries super quick.  I obviously did not use a top coat and this polish held up for 6 days!  For reals.

Essie Parka Perfect

Hey Dolls

I picked up Parka Perfect a while ago and just got around to swatching it.  It is a beautiful muted blue with grey undertones and the sweetest little flakies swimming around.  I used Wet n Wild Going Platinum from the Fergie Collection on my ring finger.

I don't often buy Essie and I'm not sure why because I absolutely LOVE the few that I own!

Clinique Black Honey Skittle

Hiya Dolls

I've got another simple skittle mani to show you today, I just cant get enough!  I used Clinique's Black Honey polish on my pinky, it's my favorite Clinique polish.  I love how vampy and dark it is without being black.  I also used Clinique Strappy Sandals on my middle finger.  For my ring, pointer and thumb I used Wet n Wild Sugar Coat.  I had to do 4 coats of Sugar coat to get the opacity I like.

Twinsie Tuesday Nationality

Hiya Dolls

Twinsie Tuesday is here again!  We are showing our Nationalities this week.  My parents are both British and Irish.  I was not about to attempt any flag nail art, so I just stuck with the British flag colors, and for my Irish heritage I free handed a little clover leaf.  It looked much cuter in person!

The white polish is Wet n Wild White.  The blue is Zoya Song, such a pretty blue!  The red is OPI Nicole Kourt is Red-y for a Pedi.  And the green clover is OPI Nicole One Time Lime.

Be sure to check out the other Twinsie's!
