OPI Winter Blue Drip Marble Mani

Hiya Dolls!

It's been a minute since I've had the time to do some nail art!  I decided to do a Winter Blue Drip Marble Mani

I used all OPI shades, Gelato on My Mind and I Cannoli Wear OPI from the Italy Collection. Give Me Space from the Starlight Collection, Rich Girls & Po-Boys from the New Orleans Collection and Love Angel Music Baby from the Gwen Stefani Collection.

OPI Winter Blue Drip Marble Mani

To create the Drip Marble look I drop a few blobs of each polish onto a piece of pliable plastic (a thick ziplock bag works well) and then I move the plastic around until the polishes swirl together in a pattern that I like.  I let it dry for a day usually (4-8 hours would do).  Once dry, peel the dry polish off the plastic.  I put a base coat on my nail and while it is still tacky I adhere the dried polish design onto my nail.

Sally Hansen Color Whirl Marble-ous Drip Marble Manicure

Hiya Lovelies!

As soon as I heard about the new Sally Hansen Color Whirl polishes I knew I had to have them!  I believe there is just two, a black and a whitish pink.  I picked up the white one called Marble-ous when I was on a day trip to the States last week.  I haven't seen these in Canada yet.

I knew that I wanted to use it in my drip marble designs.  I tried it just over regular polish and it does have a cool circular effect.  It separates into little tiny circles and lets the polish underneath peek through.

For my Drip Marble Mani I used all Sally Hansen polishes.  Gilty Party, Ocean Daze, Motley Hue, Golden Glow, I Tiramis-you and of course the Color Whirl Marble-ous.

Sally Hansen Color Whirl Marble-ous Drip Marble Manicure

You can see the circular effect quite a bit in the berry purple polish (Motley Hue) the most.  I think it looks so cool.

Have you guys tried the Sally Hansen Color Whirl  polishes at all?  What do you think of them?

Have a great day loves!

Christmas Drip Marble

Hello Lovlies!

I have a Christmas Drip Marble Mani to show you today!  I made this drip marble design the other day and then I ended up breaking my toe that evening.  So for the last 2 days I've been laying in bed, I can't believe how painful it is!  I was itching to get this mani finished, so I hobbled down the stairs, haha!

I used all OPI polishes, An Affair in Red Square, Press * for Silver, I Drive a Supernova, Worth a Pretty Penne and I'm in the Moon for Love.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Fall Drip Marble Manicure

Hiya Lovelies!

I used a couple of the new Cirque Colors Metropolis Fall/Winter 2018 Collection (see swatches here) to create a Fall inspired Drip Marble Mani.  I also used a couple polishes from the Cirque Colors Facets Collection.

Fall Drip Marble Mani

To create the Drip Marble, I placed a few drops of polish onto a piece of plastic (I just use a ziplock bag) and then I pick up the plastic and turn it around and around to let the colors swirl together.  Let dry for about 4 hours and then peel off plastic.  To adhere to the nail, I first put a base coat on and then working quickly, I place the design on nail and smooth out all the edges.  I use pure acetone to get a nice smooth line around my cuticles.

I used four Cirque Colors polishes for this look, Smokey Quartz, Rose Quarts, Minetta and Carnegie.  I added a few pieces of gold foil (which I buy from Michael's craft stores) and then top coat to smooth everything out.

I'm wearing Minetta on my thumb nail if you are curious.

Have a great day loves!

Essie Drip Marble Manicure

Hello Lovelies!

I have an all Essie Drip Marble Mani to share with you.  I still need to make a tutorial for these drip manis.  They really are some of the easiest nail art ever!  The color combos are endless.

I used all Essie polishes for this one.  My pointer finger is Go Ginza, my pinkie finger is Go Overboard and the other colors in the drip part are Aim To Misbehave, Where's My Chauffeur? and Urban Jungle.

Blue and Coral Drip Marble Mani

 Hiya Dolls!

I couldn't wait to do another Drip Marble Manicure!

My pinkie finger is Sally Hansen Swim Upstream, my ring finger is Sally Hansen After Altar.  I used those polishes and Sally Hansen Arm Candy, One in a Melon and Glam Polish Once Upon a Dream.

Drip Marble Manicure

To create a Drip Marble Manicure, you need a few polishes (I usually choose 4-5) and a piece of plastic to drop the polishes onto.  You put little drops of each polish onto the plastic and then pick it up and move it from side to side so the polishes all swirl together.  I keep turning the polishes until I see a design that I like.  Let it dry for 6 hours or so and then peel the design off the plastic.  I put a base coat on my nail and then while it is still wet I place the design on my nail and squish it down!

It's going to be a little quiet around here for the next two weeks as we will be in Disneyland!  My Huz turns 40 this year so we decided to spend it in his fave place.

Drip Marble Manicure

Hiya Dolls!

I tried my first Drip Marble manicure the other day and I'm in love!  I have been seeing and hearing about drip marble manis but I was never sure how they were done.  I saw a great tutorial on Instagram and had to give it a try myself.

Drip Marble Manicure

To make this Drip Marble mani, I dropped about 12 drops of nail polish onto a piece of plastic, then I picked up the plastic and moved it around to let the colors mix together until I got the desired look.  I let it dry for 3 hours and then I painted one coat of polish on my nail and placed the decal on my nail and trimmed off the excess and did a bit of clean up with acetone.

The colors I used for the drip marble are all OPI, Champagne for Breakfast, Five-and-Ten, Let Me Bayou a Drink, Starry-Eyed for Dear Daniel, Life Gave Me Lemons, Towel Me About, Malibu Pier Pressure and Aurora Berry-alis.  I am wearing Aurora Berry-alis on my pinkie, and Essie Ballet Slippers on my pointer finger.

Have you tried a Drip Marble mani before?  What do you think of it?
