Ciate Foil Mani

Hiya Dolls!

I broke out my Ciate Foils again!  I used OPI My Very First Knock-Wurst as my base. This time I used all the colors that came in the foil kit., and went a little heavy on the gold.  I am obsessed with all things gold this year!

Have you guys tried the foil look?  Love it or hate it?

Hard Candy Jaw Breaker

Hey Dolls

I had to pick up this new Hard Candy polish the other day called Jaw Breaker.  I'm a sucker for black and white glitters, and I loved that this one is a bit different with small green bar glitter mixed in as well.

I paired it with Barry M Pink Flamingo.  It's not very 'Fall-y' but I don't often match my nails to the seasons.

Peach and Glitter

Hey Dolls

When I saw V-AIR-Y SPARKLY by A.co I knew right away that I wanted to pair it with a peach polish.  Orly Prelude To A Kiss was the perfect peach.  I love how it turned out.  I wouldn't normally think of peach for Fall or Winter, but somehow with the gold, it works.

V-AIR-Y SPARKLY has large white and gold hex glitter, small white glitter and small white bars.  I think it is just so fun and festive.

What other colors do you think I should wear with V-AIR-Y SPARKLY?

Twinsie Tuesday First Polish Swatched On Blog

Hiya Dolls

Today for TT we are showing the first polish we swatched on our blogs.  Mine is extra special to me because it's also my namesake!  Yup, I named my blog after the first polish I swatched.

Grape Fizz by Revlon.  I still love this jelly purple! Oh and I still love glass flecks too.

Shimmer Jasmine

Hey Dolls!

Shimmer Jasmine is a fabulous teal glitter with red, green, orange, silver and gold glitters mixed in.  As always with Shimmer polish, Jasmine is packed full of glitter.  There is never a need to fish around or dab these glitters on!

I love to add a hint of glitter to my mani's sometimes, so for this one I decided to do a little swoop of Shimmer Jasmine as an accent.

My base coat is Sally Hansen Ivory Skull.  Ivory Skull is a lovely bright white, I used two coats for opacity.

Shimmer polishes can be purchased on their website Shimmy Shimmer or on their Etsy site

Nude and White Gradient

Hiya Dolls!

Brrrrr!  It's getting cold in BC.  I'm going to be bustin out my Christmas decorations pretty soon.  Eeeeee!

I finally tried a nude and white gradient a few weeks back.  I really love how it turned out!  I used OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.  I did three coats using a sponge.

Do you guys like the look of the nude and white gradients?

Twinsie Tuesday East Vs West Coast

Hey Dolls!

This is going to be a fun Twinsie Tuesday!  We have split up into two teams, East Vs West Coast.  I live on the West Coast of Canada, so I'm representing WEST.  West is showing off a shimmer polish and East is showing a glitter.

My base coat is OPI French Quarter For Your Thoughts, and I did a tape mani with Color Club Apollo Star which is a lovely SHIMMERY champagne. The silver studs are from Claires.

Be sure to check out the other Twinsie's to see who is representing East or West Coast!

Color Club Apollo Star

Hey Dolls!

I picked up a gorgeous set of Color Club polishes at Winners, but none of them have labels, so I don't know the names.  I looked on their site and I think this pretty champagne silver is called Apollo Star.  Does anyone know this polish?

I don't think it's meant to be a textured polish, but it dried that way.  I actually can't get over how much I love this polish.  Usually nudes make me have lobster hands, but not this bad boy!

I know I will wear this a lot this Winter!

OPI Just A Little Rosti At This with Excuse Moi! Accent Nail

Hey Dolls!

I may have gone a little crazy when I found OPI's on a MAJOR sale at the mall the other day.  I may or may not have bought 11 of them!  The first 2 I chose to wear are Just A Little Rosti At This which is a lovely maroon red cream, and Excuse Moi! which is a really fun glitter.  Excuse Moi! has small multi colored hex glitter and micro glitter in a pink jelly base.

I did a coat of Excuse Moi! over Just A Little Rosti At This.  I can't wait to try Excuse Moi! on it's own.

Twinsie Tuesday Rainbow Nails

Hi Dolls!

I've got some fun pastel rainbow nails to show you for Twinsie Tuesday this week.  This weeks theme is different for everybody, we were given 'marching orders' by another Twinsie.  My orders came from Chelsea and she asked me to do a rainbow gradient.  I've never tried a rainbow gradient before, and I love how it turned out!

I used a base coat of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (my fave white) and then I painted stripes of color on a sponge and dabbed away.  The colors I used are Revlon Pink Chiffon, Orly Prelude To A Kiss, Orly Jealous, Much? Revlon Dreamer and OPI Planks A Lot.

And I couldn't resist adding a little somethin-somethin, so I did a light dusting of China Glaze Fairy Dust on top.

 Hiya Dolls

This weeks TT theme is Cloud mani's.  I started with a base coat of Maybelline Color Show Wine & Dined.  The first layer of cloud is Jessica Summer Lovin which is a pretty peach leaning nude.  My last layer of cloud is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, which is my fave white polish.

Clinique Black Honey Skittle

Hiya Dolls

I've got another simple skittle mani to show you today, I just cant get enough!  I used Clinique's Black Honey polish on my pinky, it's my favorite Clinique polish.  I love how vampy and dark it is without being black.  I also used Clinique Strappy Sandals on my middle finger.  For my ring, pointer and thumb I used Wet n Wild Sugar Coat.  I had to do 4 coats of Sugar coat to get the opacity I like.
