Joe Fresh Sour Citron

Hiya Dolls

Joe Fresh Sour Citron is a color that I wouldn't normally gravitate to, but after seeing a similar yellow/lime color on @lafemmelulu on Instagram, I knew I needed something like it!

Sour Citron is a lovely limey-yellow cream.  Formula was AMAZING.  I was expecting it to be runny and patchy, but it was creamy and really easy to work with.  I did three thin coats to get perfect opacity.

Picture Polish Imperial

 Hi Dolls

I was lucky enough to be the winner in guessing how many polishes Tiffany from Polished To Precision had!  (It was A LOT, ha).  She was lovely enough to let me pick out a few polishes from Nail Polish Canada and Imperial by Picture Polish was one of the ones I chose.  Thank you Tiffany!

This is my very first Picture Polish!  I love it so much.  Imperial is a beautiful grape colored purple with gold hex glitter and micro blue glitters.  It dries to a satiny finish.

I added a shiny topcoat but I have to say that I prefer it with it's original satin finish.

Tickled Pink and It's Real 18K Gold Topcoat

Hiya Dolls

Here I am again with yet another pink polish for you, told you I can't get enough!  This lovely cotton candy pink cream is Wet n Wild Tickled Pink.

I added a coat of Sephora by OPI It's Real 18K Gold Topcoat.

I am still obsessed with this topcoat, it looks fabulous over any cream polish.

Matte and Shiny Nails, Twinsie Tuesday

Hey there Dolls!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!

I am so glad that I finally did a matte and shiny mani, why has it taken me this long to try it?  The first matte and shiny mani I saw was all black, and I have wanted to try it for 2 years now!

I used Wet n Wild Black Creme and Essie Matte About You for my mani.  I used washi tape for the chevron design.

Sally Hansen It's Chiff-on!

Hiya Dolls

I have been so into PINK polish lately, I can't seem to get enough of it.  I would definately say that I have more pink polishes than any other color in my collection.  So of course when I saw Sally Hansen It's Chiff-on! I knew I had to have it.

It's Chiff-on! is a lovely peachy-pink with tiny gold flakies.  Are you kidding me?  That's got to be the perfect combo!

Application was fantastically smooth and easy.  Two coats, with no streaks or bald spots.

I feel like I pass up a lot of Sally Hansen polishes, which is silly because they have a lot of really great shades!  This one is definately a win in my book!

Gifted Polish Twinsie Tuesday

Hiya Dolls

For TT this week we are sharing a polish that has been gifted to us.  I am choosing four OPI polishes that my bestie gifted me recently!

On my pointer I'm wearing OPI Italian Love Affair which is a frosty light pink.  My middle finger is OPI Feelin' Hot Hot Hot which is a gorgeous salmon pink cream.   My ring finger is OPI Dim Sum Plum which is a pinkish purple cream.  And my pinky finger is OPI Louvre Me Louvre Me Not which is a stunning deep purple with pink shimmer.

Island Girl Island Dream

Hey Dolls

My Mom went to Vegas a couple months ago and brought me home a few Island Girl polishes!  She picked out some goodies (thanks Mom!)

Island Dream is a glitter bomb in a milky jelly base, which gives the over all look of a jelly sandwich.  My favorite way to wear glitter is in a sandwich!  I know there are a lot of these types of polishes around, but I'm still a sucker for them.

Favorite Glitter Topper, Twinsie Tuesday

Hey there Dolls

We are showing off our favorite glitter topper polish today for TT.    I find myself reaching for  Nicole by OPI Stars At Night a lot lately.  I wouldn't say it's my fave glitter of all time, but it's definately my fave right now.

I know most people aren't a fan of bar glitter, but I have really grown to love it.  Stars at Night has silver and holographic bar glitters in a clear base.  I dabbed some on my tips over top of Maybelline Lust For Lilac (another fave polish of the moment!).

OPI Glitter Off Review

*Press Sample

Hey there Dolls

When I heard that OPI had a peel off base coat for easy glitter removal, I knew I HAD to have it.  I am a girl who will often skip out on glitter because I am thinking of the future removal process! OPI Glitter Off completely solves this problem for me.

I did one layer of Glitter Off and then I did a coat of OPI I Just Can't Cope-Acabana and then a layer of OPI Chasing Rainbows.  I used a topcoat and wore this mani for over 24 hours and there was absolutely no signs of lifting or chipping at all.  I used an orange stick to gently push the polish off starting at my cuticle.  It easily came off with a little pushing!  No more scraping and picking or the tinfoil removal process!  Life transformed! Ha.

Glitter Off

features OPI’s exclusive ProWideBrush for the ultimate in application.

Glitter Off

will be available March 2014, at Professional Salons and Spas across Canada

for $10.95 CAN suggested retail each.

Twinsie Tuesday Mani to Match your Handbag

Hiya Dolls

The theme for TT this week is a mani to match your handbag.  I knew straight away which bag I was going to get my inspiration from!  It is a Dexter bag and it screams Spring!  It has multicolored abstract dots all over it.  I was able to find polish colors that were very similar, and I love how it turned out.

I used OPI Get Me To The Taj On Time as my base coat and then with my dotting tool I just layered all the colors on top of each other til I was happy with the look.  The polishes I used were OPI Don't Mess With OPI, Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh?, Italian Love Affair and Conquistadorable Color, Essie Parka Perfect, China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, Revlon Fashionista and Color Club Wicker Park.
